I really enjoyed my dining experience here. The carne asada was delicious and the tacos great as well. The fish tacos were okay, because they were grilled they lack a diversity of texture in the bite and so I don't think they shine as much. The dining is pretty laid back and there a nice salsa and chips bar that is self serve which I appreciated. Good stopping point if out and about in Walnut Creek downtown for a few quick bites.

Love this place so much! The food is so delicious, the meat is flavorful, the chips and salsa bar are *chef’s kiss”, service is quick and it’s all very affordable. Can’t ask for a better taco spot 🙌🏽🌮💕

They did not seem to care our $90 order was missing an entree.

Had lunch here at peak, service was quick and easy; food is amazing. Spider tacos and Carne en su Jugo is the way to go.
Also, there was a new shrimp taco that reminded me of Baja tacos back in Ensenada.
I am blown away by the flavors and quality of tacos I ate tonight—delivered!
I'm conducing a show at Lesher and didn't have much of a break at rehearsal. I was getting a little hangry and desperate and knew most local restaurants would close before I could order and pick up takeout.
Uber Eats suggested Tacos Walnut Creek and I ordered the Pollo Asado Street Taco, the Fish Taco, and the Shrimp Taco. It was delivered super quick and I knew the food would sit for a bit before I could eat it.
But wow, each of these tacos was absolutely delicious—and reasonably priced. I was taken back by the complexity of the flavors.
I live in Pleasant Hill and now will make a special trip just to eat here again. And I'll probably order takeout again for tomorrow night's rehearsal.
I love unexpected surprises like this and the excellent food really lifted my mood for the rest of my work evening!

Taco Tuesday! Wow, the dynamite street tacos, chips and salsa, and horchata for 10.99. These days you can't beat that. And the tacos I got (two pork al pastor with pineapple salsa, one chicken) were a little greasy, but super tasty. They give you a number and I didn't have to wait long, maybe 5 minutes. Tacocat out!

I requested a receipt and they refused to give me (just the proof of payment and allowed me to get a picture from cash register). I’m a corporate client (need to show invoice for expense report) and it was unacceptable. If you want to go there and need receipts, forget!

Carnitas Tacos and Birria Quesadillas.... Worth the stop, great tasting authentic food.
Tacos walnut creek is the best. The pastor is juicy and incredibly flavorful. My husband gets steak, pastor, chx tacos and they come out great everytime. Burritos are huge. Food comes out within 5 minutes everytime,I literally don't know how they do it. Thank God for this awesome place.
Food was great, as were the employees

Great for vegetarian options
Best Al Pastor in town
Restaurant was clean, employees super sweet and food was very tasty. I only gave a 4.5 for service because you order at the counter , they do bring you your meal, and then you bus your table. I am all good with that.
I used to go here 3x / week about 2 years ago when they first opened. I went yesterday and they lost their quality in their food as well as their packaging. We were so disappointed in our service yesterday. They got rid of the salsa bar so you don’t get to pick your salsas (literally was the best part). They also shoved 3 separate orders of tacos (8 tacos) in the same to go box which was no fun to re organize for the family. Not only did they cheap out on packaging the food, but the food did not have flavor which was so far from the truth 2 years ago. I don’t know if they got a new chef or something but they need to go backwards. Extremely disappointed in their downfall.
This place used to be good but it’s gotten worse the last few times but today I think I’m done with this place. I ordered a surf and turf “super” burrito to go which cost over $20. When I got home, I notice the burrito was pretty small in size for a super burrito. You could argue it was smaller than your average burrito. I didn’t mind it at the time as I was pretty hungry so I started eating it and I realize that there was no cheese, sour cream, guacamole or lettuce in the burrito, it had just beans, steak and shrimp. Not only it was a rip off, it was not as described and it was dry and lacking in flavor. If I wasn’t hungry, I would’ve returned it but I’m never going back again.
