This place is so good. Now I don’t feel like I have to go to the mission to get authentic Mexican food. Its the real deal and everybody was very nice.

Great location and reasonable prices for a quick tasty nosh before catching a show at the Lesher. Crispy fried taco shells, some special plates that split well. A nice salsa bar. No frills with decor but friendly and with a local vibe.

Food didn’t taste good, I got four crispy tacos and one shrimp tacos cost me 25$. And honestly their best food was the chips and sals. Food tasted like Taco Bell

I come here almost every week to pick up a few of my favorites. The al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas are all excellent — flavorful and consistent every time. Good service and friendly staff. One of the best local spots

The walnut creek burrito with no cheese no sour cream is a great vegan burrito!

Our food was not tasty at all. We always had a good experience here but our recent dine experience was so disappointing. The chicken was fatty and they put no cheese in my quesadilla and put a tiny drizzle of sour cream on the top of it. The burrito we ordered had no flavor and no cheese. Maybe they ran out of cheese but I always thought a quesadilla had cheese in it????
I did get my food fast and the waitress was really nice which we left a tip because it wasn’t her fault. We also got over charged for our order which can happen sometimes when you’re in a rush. We aren’t sure what happened that day we came in but we hope they can get it fixed. Looks like they have a new service tax of 3.5 percent. Not sure what that is for. Hopefully it some of that goes to the waitress that we he had. She was great. I am ok with paying that as long it it used in a good way. Paid forward to staff.

Very quick burritos but the quality is just ok. Maybe will have to try something else next time. The staff was friendly enough.

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. The carne asada was delicious and the tacos great as well. The fish tacos were okay, because they were grilled they lack a diversity of texture in the bite and so I don't think they shine as much. The dining is pretty laid back and there a nice salsa and chips bar that is self serve which I appreciated. Good stopping point if out and about in Walnut Creek downtown for a few quick bites.

They did not seem to care our $90 order was missing an entree.

Had lunch here at peak, service was quick and easy; food is amazing. Spider tacos and Carne en su Jugo is the way to go.

Also, there was a new shrimp taco that reminded me of Baja tacos back in Ensenada.

I am blown away by the flavors and quality of tacos I ate tonight—delivered!

I'm conducing a show at Lesher and didn't have much of a break at rehearsal. I was getting a little hangry and desperate and knew most local restaurants would close before I could order and pick up takeout.

Uber Eats suggested Tacos Walnut Creek and I ordered the Pollo Asado Street Taco, the Fish Taco, and the Shrimp Taco. It was delivered super quick and I knew the food would sit for a bit before I could eat it.

But wow, each of these tacos was absolutely delicious—and reasonably priced. I was taken back by the complexity of the flavors.

I live in Pleasant Hill and now will make a special trip just to eat here again. And I'll probably order takeout again for tomorrow night's rehearsal.

I love unexpected surprises like this and the excellent food really lifted my mood for the rest of my work evening!

Taco Tuesday! Wow, the dynamite street tacos, chips and salsa, and horchata for 10.99. These days you can't beat that. And the tacos I got (two pork al pastor with pineapple salsa, one chicken) were a little greasy, but super tasty. They give you a number and I didn't have to wait long, maybe 5 minutes. Tacocat out!
