Had to wait a while to be seated and thought the portions were kind of small. Wait staff seemed kind of impatient. Have you tried Toyo? It’s close by. Friendly service, fresh fish and the rolls are huge!

Excellent place for good sushi. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Despite that we only had to wait about 5 min (they said 10-15). The restaurant is clean and we'll appointed. Staff were all friendly with excellent service. The food was delicious. We will happily return.

High quality sushi, with a plethora of vegetarian options for my partner to choose from. Both the fish and vegetarian options were excellent, with well balanced palates and decent portion sizes. They do offer real crab on request for a nominal surcharge, which I always appreciate.

We had an incredible, delicious dinner here! The flavors they put together are very impressive, including some of the most well thought out veggie sushi I've ever had! The staff are attentive and kind plus the rolls were made very quickly. The garlic edamame started us off in the right direction with a beautiful melody of sesame, spice, and warmth. This may be our new favorite sushi place in the area!

Amazing food! I travel all over the Bay area. All the way to sacramento, this is one of the best things the sushi rolls i've had. I also have a severe gluten allergy, so they worked very hard to make sure that there was no gluten on my food. The restaurant has a very nice feel to it, very clean. The bathrooms were very clean. Even though the restaurant was very busy I had my food in ten minutes. I ordered to go. It's really hard to find a restaurant that will Go out of their way to make sure you Don't get gluten in your food. So I really appreciate this and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the hawaii.😁😁😁😁

I have had amazing meals at Tanoshi with amazing balance and flavor.Today’s take out had a great salad and miso soup. . However I was disappointed in the amount of SALT in EVERYTHING else When eating the beef teriyaki, chicken Katsura and gyoza all I tasted was SALT rather than the expected splendid sauce flavor. Please bring down the amount of SALT to where it was last month.
