Excellent sushi place. Restaurant is very well decorated inside. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They brought us miso soup as soon as we sat down. Tons of options included veggie rolls and non sushi options. Food came quickly and was fresh and very tasty. The prices were reasonable as well. Can't wait to return and try some other items.

Tatsu Sushi is hands down my favorite sushi spot in the Bay Area. My brother and I have been coming here for a while now, and it never disappoints. The quality is always top-notch—fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and well-balanced flavors in every bite. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the care that goes into each roll.
On top of that, the prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality. But what really makes Tatsu stand out are the little extras. The free gyoza and miso soup? That’s just an unbeatable touch. It’s rare to find a place that goes the extra mile like that, and it’s one of the many reasons we keep coming back.
The only downside? Word is getting out. It used to feel like our little secret sushi spot, but now more people are catching on. While I’m happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve, it does mean we might have to wait a little longer for a table. Even so, it’s always worth it. My brother and I will keep coming back for as long as they’re around.

They even give you a free gyoza appetizer when you order food that totals $35 or more. I personally love their Spider Fantasy Roll. Carlos is always so friendly and knowledgeable. It is always a joy to come here. I’ll even wait during busy times to get in.
