Visited December 24, 2023This coffee shop has a unique interior and is visited by many people. After lunch, I wanted to have coffee for dessert, so I looked for it in downtown Walnut Creek. It's so popular that you have to wait in line to order. There are about 2 employees making coffee, so you may have to wait a bit. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the inside because the tables were full. I ordered a latte, and it had swan art on it, so it was fun to see and the latte was delicious.

Still our favorite coffee house in Walnut Creek for the wide selection & comfy cozy atmosphere. Lattes seem to taste weaker than before & we thoroughly detest the tip computer spin after paying so much for a latte with a hefty alternative milk upcharge. Staff does not tsk when one chooses not to add a tip to a $8 plus for a large beverage but still...awkward. The tipping we all were so willing to do during Covid has cooled as prices continue to soar.

Good coffee, good vibe. Took so so so long to get my coffee, I will not be coming back.

I've been frequenting WC more recently and likely through the summer so I've been looking for different coffee shops to try. Tellus seems to always be highly rated. It's a cute and Instagrammable cafe in the heart of downtown WC and based on the lines on a Saturday morning, also very popular. My iced dark mocha and the avocado toast were good. The kouign amann was your typical kouign. Overall it was a good experience but a bit pricey as others may have mentioned. A small single piece of toast sliced in half was $12. I suppose that is the going rate but have experienced better value for the quality at other cafes. Nearly $30 for a kouign, an avo toast and a medium mocha. It's WC after all though, so I'm sure the pricing carries the cache.

I liked this cozy coffee spot. Definitely would come back again. Coffee is smooth and delicious. Good section of pastry, smoothies and smoothies bowls. My order was Salmon avocado toast for $14. A Little pricy but tasty

Sometimes, it feels as if you wake up from a reverie. When you awaken, you can't recognize who the person in the dream was...Is that truly who I am? Or was that a part of me that was waiting to come to the surface and now is ready to sink into the background once more? I guess that's the beauty/mystery as well as the somewhat scary/unpredictable part of being human. You are constantly changing and so are others. And that's okay. But is there a point when it stops, and you can say, "This is finally who I am; this is the who I am meant to be," or will there never be an end to how much your desires, values, and goals change until you basically die? Is everything, including your identity, always subject to change? How about your relationships? The least I can say is that I'm confused. That's when you go out for some fresh air and grab a cup of coffee, preferably at a place with a nice ambiance and (even better yet) their own beans. That place for the fam and me was Tellus. Tellus stands out to me for its extreme green (like literally plants everywhere and green accents everywhere), spacious interior, and own beans (they have some single origins as well as blends). Service was okay. I mean, they're not supposed to be my friends lol. Coffee was good. We got the Americano as well as the Single Origin Pour Over (MELLONIA-COSTA RICA MEDIUM ROAST, FRUIT TASTING NOTES */ HONEY & TOASTED NUTS). The Americano was super clean in terms of its taste. The Mellonia had the rich sweetness of honey and did have a more toffee note.

Just came here for the first time! The hazelnut latte was so delicious. I was impressed by the fact that Tellus Coffee has a variety of breakfast options and a ton of delicious-sounding "not-so-secret" syrups. I'll definitely be back to this place soon and I'd encourage anyone who truly likes coffee to give it a try as well

Store front is dirty. Entry, door glass, windows. Doesn’t give a good impression. Dirty store front..makes you wonderis the inside clean, food and drinks prepared In sanitary conditions? Are the bathrooms dirty?Standards should be high at a food establishment.Well, if the front looks dirty ( not just leaves) it is a sign of the standards. I didn’t feel like going in because I didn’t get a good impression. My son went to your establishment for a date per date wanting to try, he wasn’t very impressed with anything.Appearances ARE very important in a food establishment. Of course food and beverage quality are the most important but you have to think of the whole picture.Outside appearance, inside appearance, bathroom cleanliness, food and beverage quality. All of it.Thank you.Enjoy the beautiful weather.

Beautifully designed interior with real plant wall and skylight. Was disappointed they told me no more acai bowls at all (although menu was still posted) and $1 surcharges for alternative milks even at cortado size. Price was exorbitant. Chicken empanada was okay, but half empty.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free

Nice chill Ambiance, I love the plants on the backwall. Coffee was good but a little pricey. Server was helpful.

Came here at around 9am to study and I love how lively it is. It's right in the heart of downtown WC. The interior is welcoming and there's lots of seating inside. For anyone coming for the first time there's lots of street parking & a parking garage nearby. For anyone studying or planning to do work: there's free Wi-Fi which is a plus. I am a big fan of empanadas so I decided to try their chicken empanada. It comes with this chimichurri sauce which goes well with it. Would I order it again? Maybe not. It was nice to try it though. I also ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and cinnamon on top. Delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. I've been on the hunt of the best iced matcha in this area and this one is up on my list. Will definitely be coming back again to try more of their food. The Quiche Lorraine seemed good.
