Very friendly service, good food, reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. They do both Thai and Japanese menus including sushi and sashimi. Excellent value lunch deals during the week. I particularly like the yellow curry and orange peel chicken. My kids love the poke bowl.Vegetarian options: Most dishes are available with tofu in place of meat protein.

The food was not good. The chicken tasted with freezer burn. The prices were over the quality and quantity. For example the curry chicken with Tax and Tip was $33, with steamed rice was $36. The Samosa was 5 Pices size of my thumb charged me with tax and tip $14. I do not recommend this resturant. They cheat you every which way. We were family of 4, paid $285. Got home I was hungry .

Really excellent food and great service. I was definitely perplexed by the sushi/Thai combo so I ordered both and had a great experience. I am a food snob. Growing up in Berkeley and eating around the Bay and beyond, I know my Asian food well. I was really impressed by both meals. The menu is huge so I recommend you take your time to order. I opted for a simple noodle soup and some nigiri~both were great. So glad my friend recommended this place. Looking forward to returning when in town.

We experienced a rude older hostess who set our experience off on the wrong foot. But our younger server was the opposite, gracious and very professional so we decided to stay and continue our evening after discussion of moving on to another restaurant in the Orchard plaza. The four of us ordered many types of sushi & sashimi with some smaller snacks to start. I found the salmon sashimi to be a little mushy but it still tasted ok. A strip of plastic lined one of our sushi pieces. Showed it to the server to let the chef know. Ick. Everything else was ok, but not a restaurant we would choose again.

I came in around lunchtime to grab takeout I ordered online. There was a guest ahead of me and when we walked in we were not greeted- it wasn't too busy even for lunchtime but they seemed understaffed and not on top of things..I'll have to dine-in next time to see if my perspective will change on the service.

I like this place, I really do. I always have, but I'm sitting here waiting for my check and I've been walked by and ignored when I tried to get someones attention for the last 20mins.. OH she JUST Picked it up, cool. I don't like writing bad reviews, so I'll talk about the food for a bit. The lunch menu is great. They have so many great options and its very filling, no portion is too small that you won't find yourself full. Soup and Salad come with each lunch option, but keep in mind there are no substitutions on the specials! There's plenty of amazing seating and I love the decorations here, its honestly beautiful. It's a great spot for lunch or dinner with various levels of spices but they're usually hesitant on upping the spice unless you push. nbd. Today I noticed a group of 4 who seemed to have had a relationship with the staff of some sort walked in and the minute they walked in my server literally walked away from me mid sentence to attend to them, from there all her attention went to these 4 as I sat waiting and attempting to get her attention. Even once she dropped off my tab it was quick just so she can tend to the 4. Cool, you wanna help your homies, totally fine... but like, don't completely ignore me Anyway, food is good I can't justify a 5er though because this was a bit rude, so come and eat here and hope this particular group of 4 aren't in attendance at the same time.

We LOVE this place. There are so many choices and everything has been delicious. I love the fact that you can choose Thai or Japanese or both! The service is always good here and the staff very welcoming! There always seems to be seating even when it is busy and I love the outdoor seating options as well. Nice and relaxing ambience.

The restaurant was not busy at all on a nice Sunday afternoon. We were greeted and seated very promptly. Service was great! The menu is huge. This place is great when you don't know if you want Japanese or Thai. We ordered from both menus and loved everything. The sushi rice was not too sticky or hard which we've run into a lot. Can't wait to come back and try their happy hour.

Came in for quick Friday grab and go, and I got slightly disappointed of the food quality. Ramen soup was just a bowl of thick, semi cooked noodles with a few slices of pork belly. Thai Tani sampler turned out to be deep-fried (spring rolls and crab pockets) platter with a bit on the dryer side chicken kebabs. The saver was "911 Rolls" requested and personalized by assumed owner or manager of the place. Overall design seemed a bit cluttered with authentic pieces, being chaotically installed all over the restaurant. We had four different servers coming and taking the order, delivering the food and coming for the orders again. Turned out to be a little messy.

Been dying to try this for a while and it did not disappoint. The spicy tuna roll was fresh and spicy. The chicken karaage was crispy without being greasy. The pad see-ew with beef was tender and full of flavor. We also had the tempura cheesecake which was rich and decadent. Green tea ice cream was the perfect complement.Service was prompt and they kept checking up on us. Great experience overall with plenty of leftovers.

Not impressed. My order to go was not packaged well and this was the result. The rainbow roll used an artificial crab inside and tasted only okay.

I got a crispy pork belly with papaya salad, and they gave me a platter of uncooked vegetables (onions, garlic, cabbage, bean sprouts, etc.). I didn’t know what to do with them so I only ate the pork and hard boiled egg. The papaya salad I disliked. It was a little bit too salty for me. I think I waited long for the veggie platter to come (around 20-30min). The shrimp tempura was good though and the coconut juice straight from the fruit itself. The sashimi platter looked good and yummy, but we thought it wasn’t fresh

The menu at Thai Thani features a wide variety of Thai dishes, from classic curries to more modern fusion options. There is something for everyone on the menu, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Some of the most popular dishes include the pad thai, the green curry, and the tom yum soup.In addition to its delicious food, Thai Thani also offers a full bar with a variety of Thai beers, wines, and cocktails. The restaurant also has a happy hour from 3pm to 6pm, which is a great time to try some of the menu items at a discounted price.Overall, Thai Thani is a great option for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Thai Thani to anyone looking for a great Thai restaurant in Walnut Creek.
