The place was visited for the first time on June 30, 2025. Parking was limited on the street, but public paid parking was available in the back. The walls featured nice pictures of famous Cheesesteak places in Philly, along with some information. The menu was straightforward with plenty of options. A Must-Visit for Cheesesteak Lovers!

Every visit to The Cheesesteak Shop is a win, but I have to say, the Philly Joe’s is my absolute favorite! It’s the perfect blend of flavor and comfort — loaded with savory meat, melty cheese, and just the right kick of spice. If you haven’t tried it yet, you're seriously missing out.

The King of Philly! Had one for lunch today. My wife and I used to live in Walnut Creek. Use to come here 30 years ago. Still the same, with that cheese steak aroma, and really making great tasting Cheese steaks ! And they got Tasty Cakes! I was born in Philly and have eaten at all the old joints. They got em on the walls. You want a good Philly cheese steak, These guys are making em. Try The King of Philly, as good as it gets!!!
