I had the best matcha latte I’ve ever had! Service was incredible and they were so friendly. They were telling me how they go to Japan to source the best matcha and it was delicious!
My favorite bakery in the Bay. The guava donut is my favorite but there are so many other good ones 🤤
I ordered nearly 300 mochi donuts from Third Culture for an event I was having, and they were FANTASTIC! We got a bunch of almost every flavor they offer, and they were all so good - our guests were raving about them and kept asking where we got them from. Their service was also wonderful, they were super responsive and fast, even with such a large order. Definitely would recommend!
My fav!!!!! I love the Asian twist on these “doughnuts”! Everything’s so good! The original is my go-to…but sometimes I feel adventurous and would pick a crazy flavor. A little sad I have yet to try the spicy one…always sold out when I visited 😫
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Walnut Creek location of Third Culture Bakery, and it did not disappoint! As a long-time fan and customer of the awesome Berkeley location, I was excited to see how this new spot would measure up, and it exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I approached the bakery, the cool window signage caught my eye. The colorful and inviting holographic design is a warm welcome that perfectly encapsulates the bakery's commitment to aesthetics and attention to detail. It totally sets the tone for the delightful experience that awaits inside.
Once inside, I was thrilled to find all the classic treats that I’ve come to love over the years. The mochi muffins, a variety of flavors of mochi donuts, and even mochi waffles were all available, and made it really hard to choose what to get. And of course everything is gluten free! I couldn’t resist indulging in a refreshing matcha sparkler, which was the perfect complement to my sweet treats.
I loved exploring the adorable merchandise on display, which adds a fun touch to the overall experience. After picking out my goodies, I settled into their outdoor seating and relaxed under the sun.
Third Culture Bakery's Walnut Creek location is absolutely delightful. The combination of yummy gluten free treats, thoughtful design, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their amazing offerings! Highly recommend! 🌟🍩✨
The gluten-free muffins and donuts are so delicious at Third Culture. I really enjoy all the variety and the new creations they come up with almost weekly. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. They really go out of their way to help in any way they can. It’s a special treat when the owners are there because they’re super friendly too. This is a wonderful business that I highly recommend
OMG you HAVE to try their GF waffles! They come out with a new one all the time and I can’t wait for the next! Crunchy, chewy, soft, crispy.. all at the same time. Third Culture has truly perfected the art of gluten-free baking and needs to give lessons to everyone else who tries. I also know the owners are community-minded and generous people who treat their employees like family.
Lovely staff, service, and food every time I visit. The muffins are delicious both hot and cold, and there are always plenty of great donut flavors (my favorite is the limited edition salted egg yolk).
Different flavors and varieties of Asian donuts 🍩 recommend for sweet tooth lovers supporting local businesses
Stopped by here before work to get some donuts. I got the Ube and red velvet peppermint pretzel donuts. They both were amazing. The peppermint donut has actual peppermint candy pieces crumbled on top which made them sticky. The peppermint was very subtle not overpowering.

The mochi muffins have a nice flavor, but the star is the texture! Super soft in the middle, but with a crust outside, get the best of both worlds.
The pumpkin pie flavor was strong and not too sweet, nothing special but again, the texture is worth trying at least once!

Went for the first time this morning and everything was delightful. The staff was so nice and took time to explain the flavors. They ran out of a donut my husband wanted to purchase and gave us some complimentary donuts to go. Don't miss out and we will definitely be back!

Ok I was happy to check out this place and tried the matcha caramel latte which was so good. I like how the caramel wasn’t too sweet. I’ll have to come back to try the mocha donuts.
What a paradise for gluten-free enthusiasts! Third Culture Bakery offers a delicious array of sweet treats in moderation, all completely gluten-free. Their fresh, gooey mochi muffins, doughnuts, and waffles are simply irresistible. My all-time favorite is the original mochi muffin and passion fruit mango doughnut—an absolute must-try!
They also serve great hot and cold matcha beverages that complement the pastries beautifully. The staff is always friendly, and there's plenty of free parking and a seating area, making it a comfortable spot to relax.
The only thing missing is a restroom, but overall, Third Culture Bakery is a gem for anyone looking for tasty, gluten-free options in Walnut Creek.
