The matcha was so delightful that I couldn't resist taking some home. They also have an excellent selection of mochi donuts! Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch treats.

We stopped here on the way home one day and this is a pretty cute spot. The Mochi makes everything better and they have some unique offerings in their bakery that makes it a very worth while spot to try! I loved the Mochi

I went at 9am one day expecting fresh donuts and muffins. It was my first time here so I bought 2 mochi donuts and 1 mochi muffin. I wish I was exaggerating when I say they were stale and disgusting. I was very disappointed with each one and ended up throwing them away.

What a wonderful finding. The service is extraordinarily friendly, and the caramel latte is amazing. The ratio of milk to caramel to coffee is ideal, the flavors are all completely harmonious and fresh, and the sweetness is outstanding. Not my favorite coffee I've ever had, but the flavor combination more than makes up for it. Strongly advised!

We have been going to Third Culture Bakery in Berkeley for some time and we were happy a new location opened at Walnut Creek. We usually go there for their drinks and mochi treats, but on this visit, we only got mochi donuts and muffin. The place is smaller than the one in Berkeley and since we went on a late afternoon, some of the items were already sold out. Nevertheless, we were still able to get a couple of mochi donuts (Yuzu Lemon and Vietnamese Coffee) and an Ube Mochi Muffin. The mochi donuts were very good. The Yuzu Lemon was very refreshing and the Vietnamese Coffee tasted just like ca phe sua da. Both of them had their holes filled with their respective glaze.Who doesn't like ube? This mochi muffin had a very good texture and tasted like ube heaven. This has been a favorite of my daughters and me.Service was fine and attentive as the line moved along pretty quickly. It's really nice that they opened a branch here, but maybe have another one somewhere in the San Ramon / Dublin / Pleasanton Tri-Valley area?

First time at this little unique tea/mochi spot. I tried the Carmel Pumpkin iced latte and the ube donut, they were both delicious. Next time I'm going to order something a little less sweet to drink, but I'm super excited to try all of the mochi donut flavors. Their waffles looked good as well. They have matcha, oolong and other teas on the shelves to buy. The vibe of this place was like nothing I've ever seen before the colors were vibrant, the inside lighting was brilliant and the color scheme was on point. Walking in I automatically felt like a million bucks! The person working the front was knowledgeable about all of the products and answered my questions about the different matcha teas they had.

Mochi Donuts are very soft, chewy and a bit too sweet. Also pricy

I have now been to both locations of Third Culture! While this Walnut Creek location is a bit easier to visit, they both have the same amazing quality to their rice based original mochi muffins, which are my favorite! The service is incredibly friendly every time we drop in and we always leave with a muffin for the road. All in all, a definite stop if you're in Walnut Creek!

Take all the things that are great about coffee, and all the great things about green tea and combine them together. Then put that in a medical waste bag, mix with seawater from a drainage ditch and sweeten with artisanal honey. Voila! The perfect thing if you like this sort of thing

I happened to have some extra time and did a search for a gluten free option near me. Thought I’d take the chance and look for this shop. Holy smokes, so glad to have found this gem! The staff was super helpful, informative of their products/baked goods, and made great recommendations. Having celiac with others in my family also with celiac, it is a huge bonus to find their baked goods to be gluten free (made with rice flour). Parking isn’t great but so worth a walk to this shop. I will have a matcha next visit. Fabulous!

I usually visit the bakery in Berkeley but since we were already in Walnut Creek we decided to stop by. The inside in small and cute-- definitely a to go spot. What I'm most disappointed in was the mochi muffins. Usually they have a slightly crunchy top that I loveeeee, but when we ate these, they were soft and tasted really grainy. They tasted like they had been sitting out for days? Definitely not a good first experience at this location for us. I ordered 2 ube and the girl working accidentally gave me regular. Luckily I checked our boxes before leaving the shop. This part is no biggy to me, we all make mistakes!
