I’m a big fan of Tomatina for years but this location disappointed me. To start with, they don’t offer calamari for appetizers, and they are quick to point to the menu fine print, why? If you don’t offer it take it off menu all together or cross it out.
The Piadine i ordered the flat bread was cold meaning they don’t make it to order and they are premade. All other locations specifically Union City offers hot fresh flat bread. I also noticed they put too much cheese and not enough dressing.
The garlic bread appetizer was also old, not freshly baked.
They have a reservation option online but it says no reservations available and yet we showed up and the place is empty! WTH!!🤦

The food is consistently good. And being an Italian raised on delicious, home made from scratch meals Im pretty picky but this place has always come through. Bravo!

Service was very good. Ordered their lunch special. Caesar salad good, however pizza was not good. Value outstanding $13.00 for pizza and salad. Will not return.
They gave up our reservation to another table and had to put us outside. It was very noisy and our waiter barely checked in. We paid 100 in cash and he brought back the 100 broken into smaller bills and made us pay that way. It was super strange.
Great atmosphere, service was awesome. They were courteous and friendly. And the food was delicious, fresh and authentic. I will go there again.

Overall service was extremely bad. Not only our waitress wasn’t up to date with what was available in the menu but also just to get our food it took more than 20 mins.
Kind of ridiculous when you put out into consideration that there were only 3 tables being served and our order was just meatballs and soup. Last surprise was to receive the meatballs first and the soup last, almost cold… 🤷🏻♂️

This place is past it's prime. The evening I visited the staff was understaffed and could not keep up with customers needs. At one point, I had 3 different people covering my table which made it difficult to know who to flag down if I needed anything for the check.
I get it that when one is understaffed it's all you can do to take care of business but some restaurants know how to manage and make it seamless. This place could not
The food was okay, not too authentic and somewhat lifeless in its taste

Really disappointed by the service. The waitress who helped us was openly rude and even spoke about me to another staff member out loud while I was still at the table.
Customer service needs serious improvement.
Ordered take out. Fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms came out to be $21 and it was a sad kid size portion. Terrible rip off!!!

I thought the sauce was bland and there wasn't enough sauce given the amount of pasta that was on my plate. I thought the meatballs had an off putting taste to it.

Valerie and Mariana were so nice, friendly, and professional. Also the chef Gonzalo was great.

Food had no flavor at all. Ordered creamy pesto pasta, had absolutely no flavor. The “sauce” was like pesto WATER. It wasn’t even sticking to the noodles, chicken was also very plain and tasted like nothing. Had to force myself to eat it and tried to like it but it was so bad. Also calzone was so dry and had no flavor and looked like a burnt bread on the outside. Sauce tasted so bad as well. Also got sat uncomfortably close to other customers when there was other seats available, so awkward.

The food was great, but we were told that each pasta dish was meant for only one person, so we ended up ordering far too much for the table. Although every pasta we tried tasted delicious, it was simply too much, and we found ourselves wishing we had ordered something else to balance out the meal.
We went on a Tuesday night around 7:30 PM for a date. The food was quite delicious, and the noise level was very reasonable. The restaurant was not overly crowded. We didn't like the lemonades we ordered, but I asked the staff if we could swap them out for a soda, and they were kind enough to oblige. I read mixed reviews about the pizzas, but we ordered pasta, lasagna, and minestrone soup, and it was all delicious. I'm on a diet, and the food was not overly rich. FYI - the restaurant doesn't have parking, but there are multiple, reasonably-priced parking garages within a 5-10 minute walk. They're usually $1-2 per hour with the first 30-60 minutes free. Don't fall for overpriced private parking lots.
