My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.
They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.
Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)
I like the poke and chips, shrimp tempura. Nice place to eat lunch in the afternoon. Quiet and cozy.
amazing food and terrific service we actually were there on Easter Sunday and we had one of the best sushi meals I've ever had in my life. the tempura sauce with the added additions to it we're just out of this world I've never had daikon and ginger in something like that. a huge selection of drinks and some of the best spicy salmon ive had in years
All the servers are amazing and we had a great feeling once We got there.
Hopefully we’ll go again
I ordered the Sushi Combination. The quality of the sushi is pretty good. The yellowtail and salmon are my favorite.
Toyosu has a great sushi bar experience as well as maybe the most diversified sushi menu in Walnut Creek. They had multiple fish that were not found in other sushi menus in the area. In addition, the presentation from the chef was top notch. Added bonus, the Santa Barbara Uni was fresh and available
As a sushi lover who knows good rolls, I was pleasantly surprised by this small, cozy spot offering fresh and flavorful sushi. We ordered the Lion King Roll (with cooked salmon), the Dragon Roll (with eel), miso soup, and hot tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were well-prepared and bursting with flavor.
The atmosphere was decent, although slightly marred by a loud diner nearby, who seemed oblivious to the fact that she was sharing her entire personal life with the room. The tables are placed quite close to each other, so be prepared for a less private dining experience.
Overall, we spent about $30 per person, which is on the higher side, but the quality of the rolls made it well worth the price. I would definitely return for the excellent sushi!
Excellent quality sushi with great service.

It would be easy to overlook this place because it’s tucked into a busy shopping area, but Toyosu was unbelievably fresh and delicious, plus the service was attentive and excellent. Easily became our favorite sushi spot in the bay!

Delicious food, very nice if you get a spot outside, and the rolls were great. All the fish tasted very fresh as well. There is paid parking across the street

Amazing sushi restaurant in Walnut Creek, very low key, unassuming spot but with excellent and super fresh food, especially sashimi.
We ordered premium sashimi omakase and extra toro as well as another roll and it was fantastic! I’d go back every time I’m in Walnut Creek!

wouldn't recommend dining here at all. The service was beyond poor waiters were shockingly disrespectful and made me feel unwelcome and rushed. It was a discomforting experience overall.
The food? Meh, it was decent. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to eat

The sushi didn’t taste good and the menu not explain exactly what you eat. Asked information before you order. The tempura was very oily and tasted old used oil. The ginger was old appearance.
If you like a good customer service don’t waist your time foi going there.
Give one star because I had too.
