When I go to Walnut Creek, I often go to True Food Kitchen (TFK). I love the food and the service. TFK  is one of the few places that in general serves healthy food that I like. My favorite is the spaghetti, squash, and the pasta pesto with mushrooms.
The food took forever to arrive and the temperature of food was colder than it needed to be! What was terrible was that we had to ask for fresh plates multiple times. Drinks were also below average- too sour and too much ice. For the price they charge, we did not think we got good value out of it. Not a place I would recommend.
Mostly good experience. We like coming here with a variety of friends and family members because of the variety of food on the menu. Last nights chopped salad was good but over-dressed. The service was slow and inattentive, especially since the restaurant was not crowded. Appetizer plates were not cleared although there was a long gap between the appetizers being finished and the main courses being served. We will keep coming but I'm hoping they were having an off night.

The quality of the food is always high and nutritious. We had the Lunch Trio special for $19.95 and thought it may not be sufficient however it certainly was. Didn't want dessert. We'll go back again. Service, however, was s a bit slow so don't go if you're in a hurry.

Very yummy and healthy food. Will was a great waiter who was really friendly and attentive to our needs.
Enjoyed the food although portion size was small on brunch menu. Very loud inside. Service was ok. Had to ask for straws and then had to get up to get our own from the bar.

The food has become inedible. They used be an amazing place to get healthy food. Now that is not the case. It is very sad and disappointing.
We were able to sit on the patio which was quiet compared to the indoor noise level. The service and food were outstanding!
