True Food Kitchen

Amazing dinner! Came in with my sister and we had a couple of different items to share. Nathalie was AMAZING. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick a few of her favorite items which were all delicious choices! Krystal the manager swing by and said hi since it's our first time dinning with them. 10 out of 10 would definitely be back again!

Great food and service every time. We have dined here for corporate lunches frequently and we are always pleased :) Keep up the exceptional work!

Can you cook and serve a bad French fry? Yes! They did it! Hard, dry, and cold. We ordered a steak and salmon. The steak was tough and both were.overcooked. When we finished our entrees we weren't asked if we wanted dessert or coffee but were just handed a check. High price for a bad meal. We won't be back.

We have eaten lunch at true foods, countless number of times. We don't live in Walnut Creek so when we're there it's our go to place. Unfortunately, some of the ingredients in the dish that I always order — chopped salad—have been swapped out for lesser options. Plain black raisins instead of cranberries, dried out cubes of some kind of cheese instead of really tasty cheddar, dressing really oily and lacking flavor. One of the items we ordered never arrived, and we just decided to skip it. The staff is always pleasant and I think the kitchen just drops out a lot of stuff. We're likely to give it one more try but to me I think it's been going downhill a bit.

As my friend and I both were seated at different tables before we realized-we appreciated the grace and humor in the way they reacted.

I thought I would try True Food again after all these years, but I was really disappointed. My turkey burger was too well done, and my friend's kale salad wasn't good as well. Plus, it was super noisy! We won't be coming back.

We have been coming here for our bday reunions and always receive top notch service and food. Thank you so much!

Never disappoints. Healthy and savory food, light and airy atmosphere, good service. Only complaint is that it gets pretty loud...

Good food and sizes/portions, but very loud inside. The patio is very nice, though

Guacamole with veggies & hummus was provided when asked instead of either or!

Curry w/ shrimp was fantastic!

I also got the margherita pizza & added shrimp….horrible call! My own creation & fault.

Our waitress was amazing and informed the manager who had another margherita pizza ready to go when it came time to pay...this time w/o shrimp (wisely).

Wonderful experience with both food & service; I highly recommend.

Food is really bad here, we order a steak, and it's pretty bad quality, same for the poke bowl, super small size compared to pacific catch

Will was my server and he was so welcoming and kind! Truly the best server! He also kinda looks like a famous actor !
