I have a love-hate relationship with Veggie Grill - they have many tasty items that will blow your calorie budget for the day in one small sandwich (or a 3 pack of little chocolate chip cookies). That said - they include all the calorie & nutritional info on the menu so I can make informed choices and save up my calories for the day (or eat half of that item). The buffalo wings are one of my favorite things on the menu - and the vegan reuben was a long long time favorite til it rotated off the menu. The current menu has a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with cole slaw that is phenomenal "lettuce style" without the bun/brioche (and significantly fewer calories). Customer service is always friendly and excellent. Spacious indoor and patio dining. Parking can be difficult on the street - but there's a huge parking garage adjacent to the restaurant (and a lot on the corner of Locust toward the intersection of Diablo, same side as the restaurant). It's downtown Walnut Creek - they want your money, so there's plenty of parking.
So sad to see this place go. They are closing 3 locations in the Bay Area Westgate SJ, Berkeley, and WC. Another good vegan restaurant gone in the Bay!

Clean restaurant, pleasant staff, good food ?, and chill music. What more can you ask for?
Looking for a good vegetarian meal. This place has a very big menu when it comes to choices. It was really hard for me to choose what to eat here, everything is so good. I ended up getting the house Impossible Burger with Black Beans and Mushrooms, Tempura Cauliflower Nuggets and a Ginger Beer. My granddaughter opted for french fries, cookies and lemonade. It was all excellent!!! ? I can't wait to return and try some other things I saw on the menu.
Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian menu, all plant-based!
The only good part is it's fully vegetarian/ vegan. But the portions do not justify the price. Also, we did not like the taste. They tried to mimic meat, but the vegetarian substitute are bland in taste. They surely need to add flavour to their burgers.
Food was pretty good My wife enjoyed the salad she ordered . Bummer part was I ordered the fish tacos.. The taco I got was good. The menu says 2 tacos an I only received 1 taco in my order when I paid for 2 tacos so for me I feel someone needs retraining or how to count .
Araceli was a great host there. She even checked on how we were doing which is rear these at chain restaurants. Food was good.
Vegetarian options: All items are plant based.

Huge shoutout to Jorge! Working so hard during the evening shift and multitasking between customers and his peers in the kitchen! Thanks you for always making my experience at veggie grill so worthwhile!
I don’t have high expectations for VG as a whole but expectations were met here. The cashier was very nice and helpful!

Love their black bean and mushroom House Veggie Burger. Surprisingly it does not taste like beans or mushrooms and was very filling. It comes with big roasted fresh tomatoes which makes it even more delicious, but don't eat while driving!
Vegetarian options: This is an all vegan restaurant ?.
Parking: There is a parking garage right next to the restaurant. Street parking can be difficult at lunchtime however I am usually able to find a spot. There is also a small metered parking lot just a few steps away- strictly monitored.
