Mary and Crystal made our visit so fun and enjoyable! The place has a real historic dive bar charm to it. When you walk in you can see the famous dollar bills on the ceiling and you can feel the floors are far from level. Highly recommend for great food, service, and atmosphere. We had the potato skins and the fish and shrimp with chips. The food was fresh and excellent.
After many visits to the historic town of Locke, we finally stopped at Al's the Wop for lunch with our granddaughters yesterday. Yes, it's a funky roadside bar & grill, but the atmosphere is terrific. Most importantly the food was very good. We ordered burgers (on a recommendation) and the fish & shrimp chips combo plate. It was enough food for two people! The food was fresh, hot and did not disappoint. Perhaps the most memorable part was the service provided...

I enjoyed the character of this spot. It's a bar/restaurant with a rich history, totally unique and off the beaten path.
We started with an Old Fashioned. It was fun talking to Jonny, I think I heard, about Al's, mixology, and ice. He made a most excellent Old Fashioned.
