When you find yourself in Walnut Grove, Ca. As we have this week. Don’t miss a meal at Fat Lou’s. We walked in around 2pm. Lou treated us like family. Took our orders got our beverages and started bringing freshly made chips and jalapeño with variety of homemade sauces and salsas all made this week from his garden. Food is fresh and wholesome....but the price to quantity ratio is absurd. I paid over $50 for two plates of food that would hardly fill up a 5 year old. Again, it was flavorful....but you DEFINITELY leave hungry. DONT GO HERE IF YOURE EVEN REMOTELY HUNGRY.

Amazing food, fantastic staff. I had the Chile verde. The best I have ever had. The owner Lou told me it is his abuelita's recipe. All of the staff are very friendly. He makes his own hot sauce as well (which he let me sample all 3 flavors). Great relaxed atmosphere. A true "mom-n-pop" business. Fresh and delicious food!
