Baek Oak Korean & Japanese Restaurant

Never had a chance to taste the food. But the man running the restaurant yelled at me for taking two napkins from his counter which was for my daughters who were eating pastries next door. He then began to talk down to me as if I was some sort of juvenile. I never have been so insulted in my life. He reduced me to a napkin thief. Good thing this place was located in a grocery as I bought the restaurant some napkins. Seems like they needed it more than I did. To the person that yelled at me, you lost more than two napkins, you lost a regular customer. My mother in law who shops here will be boycotting this entire establishment. Life lesson: treat people with dignity and never judge a book by its cover.

Great and fresh food, I like the character the spot has, and the workers were welcoming. I will definitely visit here again.

Store seems to be in disrepair..

The food is amazing and it's family style. I recommend the yakisoba beef noodles, but regardless of what you choose. You will be pleased by the food and service. The woman there is really nice as well.

This little Korean restaurant in the market is our second kitchen when we are too tired or too lazy to cook and want some comfort food fast. Many traditional korean, japanese shusi, and udon selections. Price is right and not expensive if you include all the free side dishes. Can get a little busy on the weekends and local come for a quick bite.

Owner very nice and polite. Food was good, but the previous ownership had better tasting food.
