Good, fluffy moist bread and pastries. I was happy that a bakery was still going to exist in this specific center, as there was a previous bakery that was in this strip mall before it closed. Duke Bakery has a few other stores in the area (e.g., Rowland Heights/Hacienda Heights), and the other Asian bakery near Walnut would probably be Uncle Chuang's in Pomona (it's okay...). I've passed this location several times in the past, but it was always closed and out of business. I recently saw a neon "Open" sign so I decided to stop by. Imagine my surprise to discover that it's a Duke's Bakery location! Nothing indicated that it was Duke's except for a little logo sign on the bottom corner of their window. Came across this bakery. Hard to really know that it's a bakery as there is no sign that outstands. I tried a goodie bag and it was plentiful. I really liked two of the items in the bag, the others were tasty, fluffy, very soft and a good simple treat. The lady was very friendly and helpful and provided quick service.
