Premium sushi in strip mall setting. Came here for my sister’s birthday (they currently have outdoor dining available during covid) and was surprised that such a high quality sushi restaurant was located right across the plaza where my sister would take SAT classes. Parking is free and available in the plaza lot. There were plenty of heat lamps so you can stay warm on a chilly night. The waitress was attentive and moved the heating lamp closer to us after the table next to us left. She also offered us hot water with lemon since it was cold the night we went. The restaurant is very pricey, although they do have lunch specials. However, the portions are extremely generous. They give you thick slabs of fresh fish atop a bed of chewy sushi rice in the chirashi bowl. The spicy tuna and the salmon were my favorite bits, but everything was yummy. The fried squid leg was also super tasty - very meaty with a light batter with a good flavor. If you get the sashimi or deluxe chirashi, they’ll also offer to either fry or make a soup of your shrimp head. The soup they made was umami and like a hefty miso soup. Credit cards are accepted. Bathrooms are available inside the restaurant (and they’re heated). Overall, a good spot to celebrate a special occasion.

I only came because I was getting my windshield fixed and I ate here to kill some time. There was only one person here and he was friendly. The food was pretty good. I got the wet burrito with Carne Asada. My wife got Carne Asada tacos. I liked my meal. My wife thought the tacos were pretty good. E really liked the salsa that came with the chips.
