Bought Ube Crinkles and they were dry. Taste was ok
Need to fulfill that back home comfort dessert craving. This is the place! My go to empanada... kakanin and puto/ dinuguan. You guys... support small business. They have been in town forever! Dont let the long lines intimidate. Definitely worth it!

I placed an order by phone on Friday and specifically confirmed the price for turon per piece. I spoke with Jenny, who quoted $1.45 each with no tax, and I placed an order for 55 pieces to be picked up on Sunday at 2:00 PM. When I arrived at the promised pickup time, I was told to wait, and the turon was not ready until 2:30 PM, making me wait a total of 30 minutes. I was then informed the price was now $1.50 per piece. I tried to explain that I ordered with the expectation of the confirmed Friday price, but Alme or Amy or Aime ( she said she is the cashier)was very rude, defensive, and dismissive, and was playing on her phone while talking to me. I was told the owner changed the price on Saturday and would not honor my original order. If this order had not been for a company party, I would have canceled it. I will never go back to this place.

I called a week ahead to place an order for two dozen turon for Thanksgiving. The lady who took my call sounded rushed and wasn’t very pleasant. She didn’t confirm my order, and when I mentioned picking it up around noon, she responded with, “Give me a time,” in a rude tone. It didn’t give me confidence that my order would be handled properly, but I still hoped for the best.
On Thanksgiving Day, there was a long line of people, and despite ordering in advance, we were made to wait over an hour. Even customers who had prepaid were still waiting, which shows how unorganized the process was. I understand holidays are busy, but they clearly didn’t plan well for the volume of orders.
In the end, the wait was so long and chaotic that I ended up leaving without even getting my order. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

07/27/25 i waited for 15mins for them to open at 7am. then no one is opening. i tried calling maybe someone is just busy inside their kitchen, but still no answer. if you don't open at 7am then don't put it on yelp or on your time schedule! AND I COULD HEAR SOMEONE FROM THE INSIDE JUST WATCHING SOMETHING!
