I very much love their food and service, fantastic location next to my house. The cashiers are always helpful. Will come back again.
Good location
Very good, lanzhou noodles
Small, authentic restaurant specializing in noodles. It’s currently their soft opening and if you check in on yelp, you get 15% off (they do take credit card). The family and I were curious to see what replaced 1987 beedle house, so we popped in on a Sunday night for dinner around 6pm. There’s plenty of parking given that it’s in the Vons parking lot, and there was only one other table seated so we had our choice of table. The inside is really white and brightly lit, but there’s no music. I’d suggest to management that softening the lights and also turning on some music or the TV would make for a more comfortable atmosphere. That being said, the servers were nice and attentive. The water tasted a bit weird to me but that may be because of the tap. For the food, I liked how the chicken wings were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy. I had the Lanzhou beef noodle medium bowl and enjoyed watching the chef hand pull the noodles from behind the window. The noodles were nice and chewy, but surprisingly my favorite part was the broth. It was piping hot and obviously been simmering for quite some time. If you order the combo you get some beef, an egg, and cucumbers at the beginning of the meal. I actually liked how salty the cucumbers were as it was marinated in some sort of sauce. It was unclear whether or not the meat and egg was supposed to go in the soup so perhaps let your customers know. My mom thought there could have been more meat as she got quite a bit of tendon, but my dad who got the large had plenty of meat.Overall I think the prices were reasonable and the food was very fresh and tasty. I’d come back again just for the broth.
This is how the LanZhou noodle should be
12/15/2019 - Not an expert on variations of Chinese food, but I can tell you that is pretty damn delicious. Family-styled it and tried the Lanzhou Beef Soup Noodles, tomato and egg noodles, and the cold noodles. Both equally delicious. However, the tomato and egg noodles had the edge for me and it is ironically the simplest main dish I tried. The appetizers are also incredible. A picky eater like myself would not normally eat tripe, pork skin jelly, and chicken gizzard, but sitting there, I could not help stuff my face in them...

(Translated by Google) As a senior advocate of Lanzhou Ramen, you must try every time you open a house! I have to give 3 stars, and I am still in the trial business, giving me more encouragement.
Soft opening Dec 14 2019. Pretty tasty hand pulled noodles. The broth was excellent and I appreciate them cutting up the vegetables into tiny pieces instead of huge chunks like other places.
Lanzhou Noodle House has freshly pulled noodles, northern chinese cold cut side dishes and soups that lean towards more of the subtle side. They also have delicious house made dumplings.
