Came back for round two because I love boba too much to give up that easily 😅 and I’m so glad I did. Tried the hojicha milk tea with no sweetness + boba, and it was a much better experience this time around.
Good flavor tea and good boba are always important to me — I usually get my sweetness from the boba itself, so I almost always order 0 added sugar. The hojicha was flavorful and smooth, and the boba was fresh, chewy, and delicious, which really made the drink.
The staff was super friendly, the space was clean and welcoming, and they were kind enough to let me take photos (always appreciated by a food lover 📸). Everything felt thoughtful and well done, and the vibe was perfect for sitting and actually enjoying your tea.
I’d definitely come back again — the boba lover in me approves 🧋✨
One of few place at Walnut to get a milk tea. The frangrance from tea can be detected once walked in the store.
LaLa seal of approval. 5/5 Snoots.
My favorites so far are the osmanthus milk tea and mango lassi, but everything we've tried has been great. The different bobas are all good too - that popping barley was a surprise.
I've been to Ming Cha a few times and this boba tea shop place is located on Lemon & La Puente Ave. (their front door is facing La Puente Ave). I liked their modern and cozy atmosphere and their cute decor inside. I also like their branding. It smells amazing when you step in. Last time I tried their Dubai Chocolate Latte and it was okay, so I ordered something different today with Cheesy Mango (Mango jasmine lassi, cheese cloud $7.60) with 75% recommended sugar and regular ice), and brown sugar boba milk (under decaffeinated menu with whole milk, two scoops of brown sugar boba, 75% recommended sugar and regular ice) $6.25. Both drinks tasted good and refreshing. Their boba was so soft and warm. However, I liked the cheesy mango drink more than the brown sugar boba milk because it tasted a bit bland. We probably chose a wrong drink. Their service was friendly and efficient. We would go back there soon.
What a Great experience, The drinks where phenomenal and The customer service was great. Definitely coming back to this place whenever I'm in the area
Their tea is good but they often closed unexpectedly. This is my 2nd I want to get tea and when I arrive, they had a note on the door that they are closed until further notice. Even though both times I see workers inside making tea.
Sylvia P is cute ash haha 😝
Came here to try for the yelp event! The place looks very modern, some nice decor. It isn’t that big of a place, so if you have a big group keep that in mind. This tea shop is very close to Walnut High.
I tried the Yuzu green tea, and also tried the Oolong Milk Tea. The green tea drink I believe could have had a bit more green tea ratio, but I did enjoy the Oolong. I saw some people talk about the lack of choices but I actually like places that don’t have too much on their menu, I believe this helps to make their offered drinks better and not so hard for customers.
I liked that the place was clean and that you can order your own drinks on the side with the touch screen menu. If I am in the area I would stop by again for their Oolong and Agar Boba. Until next
such a cute and cozy tea shop tucked in walnut. i ordered a few of their popular drinks and loved the osmanthus milk tea! the sweetness is adjustable and there's so many unique toppings.
the workers were so sweet and accommodating. there's also a cute photo wall where if you ask for a poloroid, u can add to it!
Our first time here. We ordered the Mango Yuzu Refresher, which was light and tasty. My daughter got The Classic, which was jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba. The boba was chewy and delicious, but the tea itself lacked flavor. Not much interaction with the staff since they have self serve kiosks. Might come back to try the other teas though.

Smells amazing the moment you walk in. The quality of their tea is so good. This is one of our favorite tea and boba places around this area.
The inside is so cute as well and there are various merchandise to buy.
We ordered the Mango White Peach and it was so refreshing. Will be coming back to try more drinks!
I personally love going up to a kiosk to order! There was no wait time and our drinks too a max of 10 minutes :) The drinks were amazing we tried to double matcha and hoji-chata. The foam on the matcha was exquisite, we did 75% sweetness as is recommended and it was truly to best way!
The matchas are not that impressive, but the photo walls are more fun. My friends are very experienced Boba Tea lovers and we like the different mixes of Matcha teas, yet nothing really noteworthy after tasting. The servers are friendly though.
My favorite boba spot this year so far ☺️
Great drinks:)
