Super slow service, ignorant waiters. We were seated 10 minutes without any service, no water, tried calling 3 different waiters, they saw us but chose to ignore us, no single response. The waiter who seated us chose to serve the groups arrived later than us. Food came fast though, but I do think the waiters need more training.

Sad to say I don't think I'll be coming back here. This used to be my favorite place, unfortunately it fell off a cliff in terms of quality.

The pho broth is watery more often than not, and occasionally it has a touch of dish water. I used to work in a restaurant so the detergent smell is distinct and unmistakable... it kills your appetite when you recognize it.

The iced coffee is entirely milk and sugar. Recently they changed the recipe, and it's orders of magnitude worse than the previous iteration. This is the most depressing downturn for me.

Honestly the service has gotten a better but I'd rather have a server be blunt with me and have food that tastes good.

What used to be a bad day for this place has become the norm now, which is a shame because I've been coming here for about 7 years and always loved it. At least its pretty now, but unfortunately it seems the new decor has come at the expense of quality.

I recommend the pho ha in Pomona, which has only improved over time with respect to food quality.

This will be the last time I choose to spend money at this place. It has become painfully apparent that the owner lacks a genuine commitment to running the restaurant effectively and providing quality service. My husband and I each ordered the Pho noodle dishes, enticed by the option to pay extra for large portions. However, what we received was incredibly disappointing. Despite ordering the larger sizes, we found only a small amount of noodles floating in a bowl of broth, that’s unbelievable. They charged $18 for a bowl of soup with noodles less than a regular size elsewhere.
Moreover, we decided to enhance our meal by ordering four pieces of beef balls. To our shock, the “four pieces” consisted of a single beef meatball cut into four tiny pieces, which was not only misleading but also cost us an outrageous $4.25. The entire experience felt like a rip-off, and I will not be returning to this establishment.

I would gove it ZERO star… I didnt know Pho can taste this bland. Oh my god!!!! Horroble quality. They add JIF peanut better to the sauce. I had to put 2 spoon fool salt to get it eatable. Will Not be coming back. OVERRATED!! At lease servers are nice and restaurant was clean.

I visited this restaurant yesterday ,and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, I had to wait a long time before anyone came to seat me, which I understand might happen if they’re busy. However, things went downhill from there. A waitress accidentally spilled water on me and my family ,they didn’t even apologize—she just stood there and watched. When I asked a togo box ,she gave a small box which is not even fit my food !The lack of basic courtesy and service was really frustrating, and I won’t be returning.

Just This

Pho Ha Plus is hands down the best pho spot in the Rowland Heights/Diamond Bar area. If it weren’t for the legendary spots in Westminster, this place would easily be my #1 go-to for pho.

My review focuses on their pho, as the other dishes are average to slightly above average. This is understandable given the local demographics and the lower demand for less popular menu items.

One of their standout offerings is their bone marrow, which they’re quite known for. While I’m personally not a fan of bone marrow and find it hard to comment on, it’s worth noting that most regulars seem to order it and rave about it.

As a big fan of Pho 79, I know it’s unfair to compare the two, but when I can’t make it to Westminster, Pho Ha Plus is my best alternative for a quick, satisfying pho fix. The proteins are generous, and the broth is rich and flavorful. It does lean slightly heavier on the star anise and cinnamon notes, which may not be for everyone, but it’s easily balanced with a touch of sriracha or hoisin.

The pho comes in regular and large sizes, and it’s absolutely worth the extra dollar to get the large portion—you’ll appreciate the upgrade in noodles, protein, and broth.

Service is generally quick and efficient, though during peak times, when the place is packed, you may experience slower service. That said, the staff is always friendly, even when they’re juggling a full house. It’s a large space, and they do their best to keep up.

If you’re in the area and craving a solid bowl of pho, Pho Ha Plus won’t disappoint. Just remember to go for the large—it’s worth it!
