Hate to give a mom & pop 2 stars but this was not a good experience. It was absolute chaos, went to pick up my food (15 mins after receiving my doordash pick up notification mind you) and they tell me their system was down and there was no order. I showed them the ready for pick up notification and then they went up to another customer and TOOK THEIR BAG off them. Other customer happened to order the same thing and before me even but they still insisted it was my order. BUT it was still missing an item so now me, the other customer are both mad. A third customer came in, also no order ready (I think he even called his in), he told me it was always like this but it was worth the wait. But was it??.... Food was ok, good portions......we ordered dan dan (tasted like a watered down version), beef noodle soup (kinda bland and not spicy) and pan fried baos (tasty but doughy). Honestly, I've had better elsewhere.

Had glass noodles and orange chicken. Seems pretty damn authentic to me. Of course, the orange chicken is Chinese-American but nonetheless.

Good option for takeout. Subpar for inside dining. Small mom/pop operation. Can be excessively oily, just ask for "little oil". Food is good and generous portions. Orange chicken very good so is Kung Pao chicken. Sweet and sour pork totally different than usual. Pork pieces are boned in super thick, rich, sweet, dark red sauce... Scrumptious!! Have also tried their hot and sour soup, which is also very good. Would definitely recommend for an evening takeout dinner.

The pan-fried buns are steamed and then fried and there should be 8 pieces but I was given 7.The Xiaolong foreskin and meat are mixed together and there is no juice at all

Authentic Shanghainese Cuisine, hard to find in Walnut and Diamond Bar area. The XLB is a must have and many daily specials to try too. The service is great and friendly. It might get busy during lunch rush. You all should try this place

Located across the street from Mt SAC. Parking can be difficult depending on time of day and classes across the street. Decor wise, your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Servers are good. Basically you come here for the good food. Dishes are all tasty wand well done. Their XLB dumplings and other dumplings are very good - juicy and flavorful. I also enjoy their Mapo Tofu which had a more smoky flavor and numbing sensation. The black pepper seafood with rice cakes is one of my favorites. Great little Walnut neighborhood Chinese restaurant. ** single restroom, which is located through the kitchen area.

This place has often been a go-to for our family over the years. The people are nice, place is clean, and the food is consistently good. We've never really had a bad meal here. One downside is that there's one restroom and you have to go through the kitchen, which is uncomfortable for me, but not the end of the world. (Plus, they didn't design the space.) Soup dumplings, black pepper seafood rice noodle, mapo tofu, and beef noodle soup for this meal - but many things on the menu are delish. Prices have gone up some, post Covid and in the current economy, but that's happening all over the place. We had enough left over for another small meal, which is always nice. :)

Still my favorite place to go for Shanghai Rice Cakes they have pretty good green onion pancakes and although not on the menu...an amazing iced coffee! It takes a little time because quality usually does. As for the service I can't complain and the ambiance is nice, clean and quiet.

Wasn't busy on the Monday we went for lunch. Food was delicious. Will definitely eat hear here again. Everything it's pretty much Ala-Carte, so it's the perfect place to go as a family or group of friends or co-workers so you can enjoy a bigger variety of different dishes. They have some great appetizers, dumplings and grilled pork rolls. I believe we were served by the owners, they seemed very nice and welcoming.Vegetarian options: They have dishes that can be made without meat, so you should be good.Kid-friendliness: It appears just fine fine kids who enjoy good food.Parking: There was plenty of parking there day we went. Im sure when the college is in or during busy hours it could get a little difficult to find parking right up front. But this little shopping center ties into the larger shopping center near stater brothers. If your coming from there college across the street, an option to walk could save you time in parking and good for your health!Wheelchair accessibility: There are Handicap parking spaces with ramps up to the sidewalk. Shouldn't have any issues getting to the restaurant.

typical Shanghainese restaurant. Rice related dishes are good. The only flour made dish I have ever tasted that's good is probably sesame meat mini buns. Marinated dried bean curd, pig belly and ears are ok. Marinated seaweed is too hard to chew.

The food is fresh, but just way too much MSG ( I felt triple amount of MSG compared to other Chinese restaurant)…you need to keep drinking tons of water….
