Green Shaker by Ten Ren

The staff here is really kind, excellent and friendly service! The food is really good too, the drinks are amazing 👏

My beef noodle soup was mmm good. Plenty of delicious and so tender beef with chewy noodles and small pieces of bok choy and the garlicky cabbage was a great addition. The 💚 green tea was very good.
Small and clean dining room is quite busy on a weekday for lunch.
Definitely returning to try more items on their menu.

I’ve probably been here about five times, and every single time the staff have been amazing! The service is always excellent :) Thank you for giving my son and me such a wonderful dinner experience. We truly loved your takoyaki and pork chop rice. We’ll definitely come back again!☺️☺️☺️

So Ive come to this place for years, maybe even decades now. Maybe its under new ownership?

Service is better than the past. I just have one concern, I ordered some food inside and sat right outside. I didn't ask for it to-go and it was brought out to me in a to-go container and bag even though one of the employees brought out utensils and a napkins for me to dine in. Once I opened the bag, it definitely seems like the portion size got smaller. If this was brought out as a dine in would my portion size have been bigger? The size and price is definitely along the lines of music festival food prices...

I ordered the braised beef dry noodles and a regular size love potion #6 (it used to be #9 but I imagine copyright/loyalties litigation probably arose at some point) and it came out to $20 (a little over because I still tipped).

All too late for serving the seriously cold dishes when they are hot dishes

Food was inferior to its late Rowland Heights Branch that recently closed. Service was decent. Atmosphere is a little more cramped compared to the Rowland Heights store. There are fewer tables for dining.

I tried their strawberry matcha- it was alright. A little too sweet and didn’t have a strong matcha taste (good for those that aren’t fans of it I guess)

They ran out of tea and had to replace my drink which was fine, but they didn't even offer to refund the difference when they replaced it with a cheaper one. Also, I ordered a milk tea but I guess they didn't read the order, cause they replaced it with a regular tea and forgot the toppings.

Never been experiencing Ten Ren as worst as today at Grand and Valley walnut. Buy 2 cup of honey green tea with Aloe, usually the aloe is about 1" at the bottom of the cup this time only enough to cover the bottom. Is aloe price just went up so Ten Ren think they need to cut the portion? That cutting the portion more than half compare to regular. I been with Ten Ren for around 20 years since Alhambra and San Gabriel. The one that make it 1 star is how the attendant respond to my complaint. When I ask why the aloe is so little, she just said light that how the scop is with "I don't care face"

Don’t normally complain, but BEAWARE……..I ordered UberEat at 12:55pm the store didn’t process the order when I got there around 1:15pm, and when I arrived they have noticed no one is working on the order, and started to prep the order, and I waited in the car for another 15-20 mins, and went to check my order again, but one of the staff gave my order to other customer. Maddie came to apologize saying it her fault, she instructed the staff to prep order I had, and she will voided/refund the order and provide me 3 free drinks of my choices for later on. But later came back, telling me she talked to her manager, since I am “willing to wait” for the order , they can’t cancel my order, now I’ve been waiting around one hour for my order and telling me since I am “willing to wait” they can’t cancel my order, but you were telling me your are preparing the order and made me waited at first. So I got really upset and told them I will order somewhere else.

BEAWARE! Make sure your order was cancelled and get your refund you left, otherwise uberEat will still charge you the whole order amount as cancellation fee, WHEN you don’t get your order, WHEN you waited for your order for an hour, WHEN they apologized and tell you they will refund you, WHEN they promise you for future xyz. BEWARE…. Check with UberEat your refund credit.
