Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It's already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.

This spot has a friendly, welcoming vibe—classic old-school tea shop style. The drinks are always solid; nothing mind-blowing, but reliably good.

For food, the pork chop rice felt pretty authentic, though I wouldn’t have minded if it were a touch saltier. The popcorn chicken came in a good portion size with decent flavor, and the rice was a bit on the dry side for chinese standards. Prices were fair overall, especially for what you get.

What really stood out was the service. I called ahead since I was in a rush, placed my order over the phone, and by the time I parked, they had it ready and even brought it straight to my table. That extra effort made the experience much smoother.

Used to love coming here and still drop by whenever I crave boba. Today I ordered my usual Jasmine milk tea with 50 % sugar, but it just wasn’t the same. The tea flavor was weak and the sweetness tasted way above 50 %. Even the boba pearls were firmer and less chewy than before. Hope they can bring back the consistency I remember.

Came here for a midday snack, went with a 50% sweet level earl grey milk tea with brown sugar mochi jelly, and a popcorn chicken rice combination.

My first time trying brown sugar mochi jelly, and whooooooah...it's amazing. I can surmise they are trying to emulate the tapiomochi from toro tea, and honestly it is very very similar. Not too sweet, perfectly chewy with a rich brown sugar flavor, which I particularly enjoyed. The earl grey MT was cool and refreshing. I do wish the early grey aroma was a little stronger, but that's just personal preference.

Popcorn chicken rice combination was also good, a solid 7.5-8/10. Could be a little crunchier, but the quality of the chicken was good and the combination with rice and vegetables was perfectly crafted.

I ordered a Milk tea with boba and the tea was way too sweet to the point it would leave a sour aftertaste. The boba was not able to be sucked out of the straw and when I checked why, all of the boba in the cup had been stuck together and it tasted like the boba was reused from yesterday.

I have been to this ten ren for almost 10 years and never leave a review for this place. The food and the service always good. I'm a milk and fruit tea girl and I have been to many teas places. But Tenren teas always the top notch for me.

Second time here and the server was very inattentive compared to the one we had the first time. Food was pretty good though.

The pork ribs rice looked as if it had been taken out of a fire, burnt very black. It's completely inedible. The charcoal pork ribs are actually charcoal. There are not as many food items as before. Disappointing okay

I ordered a Matcha Strawberry Tea. It tasted horribly sweet. What a waste of money. They used syrup, not fresh Strawberries or freezed dried. Never again will I visit this shop. Many places to choose from.

This was my 3rd time ordered their popcorn chicken. The first time, the chicken was really tender and juicy. The 2nd time, the chicken was overly cooked. Today, I wanted to give another try, the chicken was still overly cooked. It was actually re-fried. It was rough, dry and dark in color. I also ordered the sweet potato fries, and it was ver soggy, completely opposite from the popcorn chicken.
In addition, only one young cashier was at the counter helping the customer and I was next in line. Another young cashier came out and other customers came in and she started helping them without even looking if any other customer was in line.
Very disappointed with this place.
