Updates: We ordered our meals from The Habit Burger by Uber Eats today. We like the lettuce wrap burgers and the meat was juicy and flavorful. However, we were not a fan of their fries and their crispy chicken bites. The fries were soggy and not crispy. And the chicken bites were not tender. We were a bit disappointed.

I have been to this location a second time since opening. The first time was disappointing, and now I definitely won't be back. Got a burger for takeout. Food - Their burger patties were undercooked and still raw, biting into the burger, the meat was cold and undercooked. See the picture to compare them versus the burger joint on valley/grand. Service - Service was fine, staff were nice and helpful. l believe they were also understaffed as the drive-thru line was pretty busy and probably contributed to the cook time of items. Management definitely needs to figure out staffing and the drive-thru. Make sure you check your food!

The Habit is where the former Jack in the Box location was, located in the plaza across from Mt. SAC. There are many self-order kiosks, but only one cashier. If you have a coupon code (i.e. Birthday Charburger w/ Cheese), you'll need to order with the cashier, because the kiosks do not take the coupons. Charburger with Cheese $6.49 Our award-winning burger topped with caramelized onions, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, pickles, mayo and cheese on a toasted bun. Tempura Green Beans $3.99 Includes side of Ranch dressing. The interior has been remodeled with a modern touch. Once you step in, there are 2 self-order kiosks, along with another self-order kiosk near the cashier at the front. The condiments are to the right of the cashier, along with the soft drink dispenser. The food was to be expected and they sure were busy, months after opening. Overall, service and food were good.

Manager here refused to take my order. He insisted I use the self serve kiosk at 2:15 PM when there is only one other customer. I was here a few weeks ago and the girl working the register gladly took my order. Other than that, good burgers. No complaints about the food. Is it that hard to take my order? I'll go to the Diamond Bar location in the future.

I came to the Habit on a Friday night and Josh was a rockstar! He provided us with excellent customer service! The staff has been so nice everytime we come here! So happy to have a habit in walnut!

I had a disappointing experience at Habit Burger. The patty melts and onion rings were very soggy, and the presentation and taste were terrible. The quality of the food was also poor. I believe the kitchen staff/cook may be responsible for these issues. The yellow chili pepper was also stale, soggy, and old. I decided to go to Habit Burger after leaving In-N-Out Burger due to a busy drive-thru, but it was a big mistake. Although Habit Burger was not satisfactory, my food was disappointing, and I struggled to eat it due to the dirty grill.

This was our first time at the new Habit in Walnut. Definitely an improvement over Jack in the Box! Friendly staff. The chicken sandwich was good as far as fast food goes (better than Chik Fil A!) and it was good size. Hamburger and fries were ok. I wish I had known there were onions on the burger because I would have asked for them to be left off. Chocolate shake was delicious. We're not fast food people but would go back.
Coming to this location for the first time, right away I noticed it was very clean! When I walked in I received a hearty greeting from the cashier, Porter. He took my order expeditiously with a smile on his face. Kudos to this young man for providing great customer service. I ordered the double char combo and it came out pretty quickly, maybe 5-7 minutes. The fries were nice and hot. The burger itself was very yummy and one staff member even checked on me while I was seated dining in. Overall, good experience would definitely come back.

Been to this location twice, since it's one of the closest fast food chain around the neighborhood. However the drive thru is SO SLOW. Waited like 15 mins with only 3 cars ahead of me. Ridiculously slow.
