My family and I had an exceptional wine tasting experience! The variety of wines offered was truly delightful, with each one presenting a unique and robust combination of aromas and flavors. We experienced notes of strawberry, cayenne pepper, and smoky honey to peaches and grapefruits, and even sherry – each wine had its own distinct personality. Each sip was a delightful surprise, and the unexpected combinations made the tasting truly memorable. Our host, Tony, was outstanding. He not only answered all of our questions with enthusiasm but also went above and beyond by providing us with an insightful tour of his cellar. The passion and artistry with which he described the winemaking process added a special dimension to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. This winery is a hidden gem, offering not just remarkable wines but also a unique and enriching experience for wine enthusiasts.

Off the beaten path but Tony and his wines makes it worth it. Definitely bring a picnic as the store in town doesn’t have charcuterie fixings. Tony will edumacate you on wines, his grape varieties, Italy, and Southern California. Plan to spend at least an hour. Beautiful landscape and sitting areas. Wines were delicious and we bought a dozen.

We visited this winery twice in 3 days! First, my husband and I stumbled across it and had such a fabulous experience that we returned with friends. Tony is the real deal. It will be the best tasting experience you’ve ever had and we absolutely love the wine! The grounds are beautiful. Plan on a couple hours and settle in to enjoy what it used to mean to visit wineries. You won’t regret it!

I have never enjoyed a winery more than this one. The wines are top notch, the winemaker, Tony was fun to hang out with and the grounds were lovely. We were with a group of friends and everyone loved not only the caliber of the wines but the experience as a whole. Many in our group joined the wine club while on the spot. It’s an experience not to be missed and we’ll definitely be back!

If you like wine and are looking for an authentic wine maker, Serenissima is a great place to go. I like to avoid the touristy places and try to find the hidden gems of San Diego county's wine scene, and this one is certainly one of the latter. Tony, the owner, is clearly very passionate about his product which I have a lot of appreciation for. He took the time to talk is through every wine. He offers Italian varietals for his whites, which is very unique in California, but also offers the classic Bordeaux grapes for his reds, that you find in most wineries in California. I really liked the Cabernet Sauvignon, the Merlot and the Arneis. He also has a very interesting rose. Don't go here if you're looking for a pretentious experience or are checking out wedding venues, go here if you're into interesting wines made by someone who has passion for his product.

What a unique and fun experience at the La Serenissima Winery in Warner Springs. Tony was a fabulous professor and an entertainer of all things wine and grappa. We’ll come back back soon! Grazie Tiso! ?

This was our second visit to La Serenissima and this time, we actually arrived while they were still open. We called ahead and made an appointment (recommended) with Tony for a late afternoon tasting. We tasted quite a few of his all estate grown varietals, several being new releases since our first visit. He does his tastings a little differently from other wineries. He likes to do "blind" tastings, so you won't be swayed by your preconceptions of what a particular wine should taste like. I would recommend you go just to try the Arneis white wine. It's an Italian varietal from the Piedmont region in Italy, but he grows it in his vineyard. I've never seen it anywhere else on the west coast, and it makes quite an interesting wine. Tony's knowledge is extensive, and his wines are wonderful. He even gave us a tour of the estate, including the beautiful villa. We've never felt rushed to get through a tasting. In fact, he insists on you revisiting all the wines you wish to. A definite "must visit" winery when traveling through the San Diego County wine regions. TIP: I recommend you call ahead and make an appointment for a tasting.

If you are local and love wine you should visit this place. This is a small batch personalized service. The owner takes pride in his work and he shows it. Tony was an amazing host and was very informative. We didn’t become members but are really thinking of going back and following through. The wine was really good. We ended up bringing home a bottle of Cab Franc. If you love wine, you won't be disappointed.
