Loved their rasayana and hot chocolate. Need to try their more unconventional lattes.

We grabbed a chai and samosa at the Anjaneya cafe next to the Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple. It was great to enjoy a warm snack and beverage in the cold weather. The chai was well-spiced and samosa was crisp and freshly made (we visited the cafe soon after it opened at 11am after our temple visit). Nice place to grab a quick bite!

Nice cafe
Sadly u need a reservation because it belongs to a private entity which seems to own the majority of the mountain🙁.
We tried to have a coffee during a little day trip from San Jose but not so.
Actually more than a reservation u need to attend one of their events is my understanding.
Then we thought we can visit the Buddha temple about 1.5mi further down but this one is closed until further notice due to construction.
I give only 1 star because I could not see it and I think the reservation issue should be mentioned.
Sara is absolutely fantastic! she makes the best vanilla latte and has the most amazing energy. she makes my day, every day!

rasayan was mindblowing. mango lassi wasnt good. packed snacks are okayish
We tried the samosas, chai, and hot chocolate with whipped cream, and everything was really good and fresh. The cafe offers plenty of outdoor seating options with beautiful views.
Cafe has limited hours, drinks were slightly too sweet for my taste, but the Mount Madonna Center kitchen next door was amazing. These entities are related and I will leave a combined review. The salads were wonderful, with slight variations in the vinaigrette dressings. The food was mostly vegan, a few vegetarian items were clearly labeled, gluten was also labeled. The pancakes and tofu scramble were the best I have ever tasted. The specialty salads were great. I took photos of some of my favorite dishes...

This small cafe serves samosa, chai and other snacks for temple and Mount Madonna visitors. I used to have snacks with family and friends after temple darshan. Over the years, they have grown into a fully money-minded traders. During the last visit, one guy was visually searching every visitors and warning them that outside food was not allowed. He was specially warning visitors with small kids/ babies. The surprise element was that the price of snacks (tea and samosa) was trippled wtihin a few minutes after a surge of visitors at the cafe While, the owners certainly need to earn, it did not make any sense to me how they tried to maximize the benefits.

Definitely get their rose latte
Love to grab a warm drink and some samosas in the late afternoon here. For those avoiding caffeine, I recommend the Rasayana, warm milk with a subtle flavor of saffron and cardamom, simple yet flavorful, just right for the atmosphere. Look at the images and captions on the walls as you wait for your drink. Stroll to the attached deck to enjoy the view as you sip your drink.
Vegetarian options: Amazing samosas, not too spicy and just right for the atmosphere.
Kid-friendliness: Cookies and warm milk are available.

Anjaneya's world cafe is situated in Madonna centre very nearer to Hanumar temple. Snacks and coffee and other items are available. Devotees and the residents in the Centre are using this cafeteria.
