Looking for a casual spot in Watsonville? Look to further than the Hindsight Cafe. The food is spot-on every time I've eaten here. There's a food renaissance in Watsonville starting to happen and this place is part of it. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

Food is always fantastic and we always bring our out of town friends here when they visit. We typically order a lot of food and always tip well, I just wish the bearded bartender wasn't so unwelcoming. It makes it hard to convince my husband to come back as often as I'd like.

I adore this place and love coming here with my partner for a date. We love the oysters (I swear they are the freshest in town), the “Not so Lobsta” roll and the garlicky steamed muscles (if they have jt). Everything is always super fresh and high quality :)The beers are Fruition are fine af too. I love any of the snack series and the Slip Pilsner cuz it pairs well with the food here. The chef Ryan is one of the coolest, kind, hardworking person I know and it always feels like such a treat to be able to enjoy his food.

I’m always on the lookout for oysters and when you combine them with good beer, that’s a WinWin. The steamed mollusks are excellent and I always ask for extra bread to enjoy the broth. Hindsight lies within Fruition Brewery.

Ryan hooks it up with some of the best of seafood in town. My partner and I walk our dog here often to chill outside, get a drink & oysters. The oysters are always fresh and everything on the menu is bomb and made with care !!

Wow! What a delightful menu. The clam Chowder was delicious- very unique. The Grilled Cheese was crispy with cheesy oozing out. The Panzanella Salad was incredible!! Loved the variety and special touches. Well done.

Don’t look for the Hindsight Seafood Cafe restaurant or storefront. This eatery only serves their food at the brewery. The oysters were amazing and the clam chowder was the chunkiest I’ve ever had

Was out riding around and pulled up Gmaps to find a place for lunch. Saw at the Brewery there was food so decided to check them out. Well, beyond the the great beer came a delicious grilled cheese. Then to see they had east coast (Massachusetts) Oysters was a surprise. I prefer East Coast oysters. So this was a find. Oysters were great. Service was great. The staff was super friendly. Can't wait to head back.

Delicious seafood specialties and fresh local oysters! Grab a beer inside the brewery and check out Hindsight Cafe to see what's on their menu and the specials for the day!

Full disclosure: I’m a *little* biased having known Ryan since high school. He’s an incredible person, chef, business owner, etc., and the food he makes is insanely delicious. You’re gonna have a meal that reflects all the best parts of him, because he’s putting 100% into this operation and his creative personality is baked into his ever-evolving menu. So, eat here!! You can’t go wrong — everything on the menu slaps.

Such good food I would go here every day if I could. They have amazing clam chowder and vegan "lobster" sandwiches

Hindsight is a small spot located inside Fruition Brewing in the East Lake shopping center. They specialize in oysters, but have a few small bites that pair perfectly with the sours and saisons Fruition makes. On the Sunday we visited there was a carrot chowder, clam chowder, two versions of a grilled cheese, and $1.50 oysters. While the grilled cheese was tempting, we were here for some oysters. It's hard to find oysters for such a deal and I just knew that the tart sour I planned on getting would be best enjoyed with the vinegar goodness of a mignonette. It was just as imagined! Can't wait to try a little more when I've got the appetite!!

By far my favorite clam chowder in town. The whole menu is great but my gotos are the steamed clams and the fresh oysters.

Oysters are bomb. That grilled cheese is out of this world. I'd pay $30 to have that thing delivered to my lazy self at home. Probably 3x a week. Go there.

Hindsight exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who loves good seafood, also has some vegan options as well as specials sometimes (definitely follow their Instagram for details) Ryan is truly passionate about what he does and that shows through the amazing food he serves. The clam chowder is by far the best I've ever had
