Great place for dinner. The service was great. Nice selection of wines and bar menu. The food was really good. They had different items on the menu you don't typically see. The appetizers were really good. We had shrimp corn dogs. Yes, I said shrimp and an Asian chicken wings. Next time I'm in town, I'll be eating here again.

Food was overall delicious, everything was moist and fresh, but I am a lady of flavor and unfortunately they weren't spicy enough for me and didn't pack the punch ? that I was looking for, but besides that...the food was fresh and delicious.Definitely recommend this place ☺️ it's great for date nights, or even a girl's day out.10/ 10

Excellent restaurant for this tiny community. If this place was located in San Francisco, then it would be impossible to get a table. The rib eye is my go to plate. I'm taking one star off for the portions as they can be a bit small for the specials.

My husband is a Chef (retired now) but he loves the Crab Fat Chicken wings. Here he is with his triple order of wings. He doesn't eat them all at once but he does eat them all within 24 hrs.I currently really enjoyed the fungus and fog flatbread as well as the dragon balls which I wish I would have gotten a picture of them, they were delicious.Tristan in the bar can put together a wonderful and creative cocktail.
Vegetarian options: Flatbread I ordered was vegetarian, also a few pasta options were vegetarian and the dream balls were vegetarian
Parking: Parking is free on the street as a parking lot behind the restaurant to the right just through a driveway/alley

A+ dining experience for a small town. The rib eye steak was super flavorful and the Cesar salad was outstanding and had a A+ dressing and anchovies. The wine we had was only and $8 markup from on line prices which is very very reasonable. Finally the service was A+ and very attentive. Would absolutely come back again!

We all enjoyed our experience at Cafe on Main. It can be hard to please a large group and everyone walked away happy and full. There was a nice selection of dishes, including vegetarian, and the food and cocktails were delicious. The shrimp “corn dog” appetizer was a fun and tasty starter. Loved the atmosphere - the centuries old brick buildings are a lovely backdrop. Will definitely eat here again.

Elevated food in a small mountain town Weaverville Ca, Chef Scott Boone always impresses me! I knew my goat burger was gonna be good but at the first bite, it was better than I could've imagined! Amazing food , BEST IN TOWN ?
I love this restaurant! It has really great food that is either vegan or can be made vegan. The mushroom toast is amazing and so is their pasta.

It was sad when Cafe on Main closed a few years back and joyful when they reopened again. We are lucky to have such a culinary treat in our small town. Just discovered the wings and the lamb special a few nights ago was world class. Not to mention, really good friendly service.

Put this restaurant in NYC or SF and good luck getting a reservation.The chef and team at Cafe on Main do everything well - from the Elk chops all the way down to the kid's hand made chicken fingers. It's inspired food that surprised the hell out of us.
