An out of town friend came in for lunch. We decided to go to the Red Dragon. I had never been there. What amazing surprise. The food was amazing. The customer service was the best we've had in years.

Great food, however pricey for Chinese food. That said, portions are filling and the staff are very accommodation with special/custom orders. Many options are available if requested.

The best Asian soup on the planet, Pho sure! Sweet waitresses who seem genuinely happy to see us. I need a 12-step program to stop my crab puff habit there. On the real, when my body feels rundown, their pho, sprinkled with house-made pepper oil, is magic. How often can you dine out until your full, and leave feeling more energetic than whence you came? Avoid the coma carb crash, and fill up with the amazing soup at this small, hometown favorite.

Drove (hour away+) for Chinese food and was impressed... I'd do it again

We often get take-out for birthday's at our business. My favorite is the Chinese chicken salad and egg rolls. My husband's favorite is the beef and brocoli. Service is "Weaverville Time" and the panorama of old Weaverville and Chinatown, probably painted in the 1970's, is fun to see. The building is very old.

Food always delicious and fresh, been a long time favorite for me and my family.

The prices are outrageous especially with a community that struggles financially like ours. I got a combination plate off of the speciality menu and it cost me 18.95. The only thing good about it was the salad. The chow mein was bland and seemed over cooked. You barely got any fried rice which was also flavorless. And the entree had hardly any meat and more veggies then anything but not the kind of veggies that you'd want. The soup, oh my goodness what a train wreck. The services was at least a positive experience but if you want Chinese food make the trip to Redding and go to the Chinese place in the airport, I promise you wont regret it and you will save even with the added gas on top of the bill. Your taste buds and wallet will thank you. Oh regular combinations are like 16 and some change. Family meals are like 30 per person. How are people affording it and how has this place been able to stay open, I dont know other then it is probably all the retirees that have fat wallets and their taste buds have changed over the years. 1 other chinese place I'd recommend is Lims but only if you want retro, nothing like what you'd expect now a days, it's off of market, take 299 then head left towards Lake. It's an old fashion joint that my mom went to as a kid and the owner also served in the war like pre Vietnam, lots of history there.
