We had a great time here! The bartender was friendly and attentive, there was a good selection of liquor, the locals were fun, and the food was delicious! We had the house made clam chowder and garlic bread. So good!

Hubby and I drove in from the he lake for lunch. Speciality is wood fire pizza. For starter, we shared hand dipped onion rings. Delicious. Very crispy. Onion wasn't slimy. He had chicken strips and fries. Said they were good. I had the combination pizza. This is a very thin crust pizza. Not at all what I expected. If I had known it was thin crust, I would have ordered something else. Now, I did not leave hungry as it did taste good. But not a lots of toppings as the crust won't handle a lot. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Hoped for something more.

Great food, decent pricing, great beer selection, there are some party games you can play in the covered back patio seating(giant connect 4 and Cornhole) and there is a very relaxing water feature out there as well. This is an awesome spot, even for people who don't drink.

Very nice place in Weaverville California up in the Trinity Mountains. The owners and the staff are very nice and friendly. Beware, they're mountain folk and not inclined to put up with bullshit. If you behave yourself, you'll have a wonderful time and probably will need to get a nap after one of those burgers 😂😆

I hate to leave negative reviews but sometimes they are necessary. I’m visiting the town on business for a few days and wanted to try the food here since the reviews are high.
The first day I visited 30min before closing (which I don’t typically do) but this is a small town and there aren’t many options. As I was walking up some people were cleaning outside and let me know they closed early and will be open the following day. Ok, all good I understand sometimes places close early plus I don’t like rolling up near closing time so all good.
The following day I come back 2 hours before they close and the place is bare. 3 people inside, two playing pool and one at the bar staring off into space. I’m looking left and right for an employee when one of the persons playing pool asked if they can help me. I asked if they were still serving food. He hesitated and said he shut the kitchens down, kind of rolled his eyes and said he “could” fire the kitchen back up. I told him I didn’t want to be an inconvenience but and he visibly was a bit annoyed. After not feeling welcomed I told him I was good and decided to leave. He and the other guy playing pool followed behind me to smoke on the front porch. To watch me as I left. Thanks for the unwelcome 👍🏽. It really put a damper on my stay out here.

Highly recommended. Good food, good beer, friendly staff. Covered patio in back is dog friendly. They had a great beet salad with garbanzo beans for my wife who is veggie and gluten free.
great little place. Burger was delicious. ribs were so soft too. the fries were so crispy and different than I can remember having. overall much better than I expected.
Driving from Whiskey Town and we wanted some food, we found Tangle Blue. When we walked in from a bright outside, the place was so dark. Once your eyes acclimatised you felt the atmosphere of the place. Big bar in the centre of the room with a couple of pool tables and tables. They also have seating outside in the garden. We chose to stay inside to enjoy the environment and stay cool from the afternoon heat. We had a blue cheese and Californian burger each with fries. We had two sodas for beverage. The burgers were to die for and the fries were exceptional. The flavours of the burger with the cheese and bacon really accompanied the juicy meat burger. My other half enjoyed the Californian too with its avocado and bacon. The service was friendly and we had a good chat. We really enjoyed our experience and we would definitely return to try other items off the great menu.
