It was our first time in Weed! The was a great place for our breakfast needs. The food was great and our hostess had a wonderful personality. Food was homemade! The biscuits are to die for!

Nice stop, food was good ol' fashion dinner food. We used the nearby Tesla charger, you will have to get your car before your meal is done so prepare for that. Was a very nice place to eat and rest from the road. The town seems to be getting some TLC, I would expect more great things from there in the near future.

The Hi-Lo Cafe is also somewhere I stop when I am passing through Weed. It is a cute little café right when you exit the I5 to the 96. I have passed through here at many different times of the day over the years but most frequently around breakfast/brunch time. This time however we were passing through in the afternoon. We stopped in and we're offered a booth right by the door right when we entered and we're asked if we wanted something cold to drink. The Hostess/server brought our drinks over and gave us some time to decide. They had someone working on one of their drink machines so it was a bit loud at the front but not too bad. I ordered a turkey Club add avocado with a side of fries but was brought a Chicken Avocado Club with fries. Which was excellent so no biggie. My boyfriend got the French Dip which he enjoyed. Their fries were cooked to perfection and we're so delicious. We'll be back on our next pass through weed.

What a great gem in Weed. Home style cooking. But first, without good service, everything else is secondary. Lotus is and was phenomenal. Great personality and always checking on us. I had the Pot Roast and was fall off the fork. Awesome mashed potatoes and lots of gravy. But unexpectedly for most meals was the toast!! Home run. Priced perfect and if we travel through Weed again..... Needless to say we will stop in. A 9 out of 10. I must also say that my wife had the Meatloaf and was totally satisfied. I too had a couple bits was was very flavorful.

Lotus, our hostess/server was awesome!! She was incredibly friendly and had good recommendations of dishes for hungry hikers (vegan and carnivore). Definitely a great place after a fun expedition!

This restaurant used to be great until it changed ownership. Even the employees are not happy with the owners. It took 45 minutes to get our food. The food was bad to marginal. You could not cut the waffle with a fork, it took a knife. Are you kidding me?

A cute little cafe right next to a Tesla supercharger. Food was surprisingly good but the icing on the cake was Bonnie, our server. Despite efficiently manning the front of the house by herself, she kept a friendly face and genuinely fun attitude!
The restaurant could benefit from a little interior cleaning and perhaps more hands on deck to help Bonnie :)
Typical hole in the wall restaurant. Food was good. Nothing to write home about. The high point and the reason I'd likely go back was the waitress, Lotus. Super sweet and helpful. You can tell those people who act nice because they want a nice tip and then there are people, like Lotus, who genuinely care about the experience.
