Today the food was not as good as usual. It was hot and fresh. But, they were out of a lot of items including french fries and they were substituting fries that they got at the dollar store.
Bonny is hands down the best server I have met. She was swamped wity early lunch customers but never stopped talking kindly and attending to as many people as she could. The place is a relic from the past, the atmosphere homy and nice. Food wasn't great but not bad at all. I love to check these kinda local gems when I'm on the road. They don't disappoint.
We had the roast beef and mushroom, and chicken alfredo dinners. . Both were superb home cooked meals with all fresh ingredients. Huge portions. We were too full to order their pies. I regret not taking a piece to eat later.
