70's Saga Ramen & Curry

Lady up front is disgustingly rude. Doesn't even know the menu, doesn't greet anyone and only talks to get your money. No wonder they have forced gratuity cause nobody would tip otherwise. Whole place smells of chemicals and piss. Avoid like the plague.

Edit: As you can see from their response, the lady in charge is too lazy to clean her smelly floors, would rather sit behind the register and cry and whine. Notice that she acknowledges how rude she is, and doesn't care to fix her bad attitude at all. You can even see other reviewers complaining about the same thing. I think this lady won't have a job where she has to talk to customers for much longer.

Editing my review based on the responses from the owner. 9 Months ago I came and ordered 3 Ramen, one Miso and 2 Pork broth. Both of the people who ate the pork broth were violently sick for 4 days. You cannot expect to keep a restaurant running when you constantly belittle people who have any sort of criticism of your restaurant. Shame one you. Take a look at bun street 2 doors down. One of the best restaurants in Covina and they take the criticism seriously.

Decent is putting it nicely to a place like this ive been to many rinky dink ramen shops and this one would be in my top 5 of worst places. it smells horrible when you walk in the door, customer service was bareable the only saving grace of this place was the food wasn't bad. if your needing a quick ramen fix and not looking for anything else. This place will do.

I always come here with my bestie for a delicious meal. Kind of like a ritual of ours lol. Personally we think it’s bomb! Always stick to my spicy miso ramen and her and I get Thai teas! Always crave it even on the hottest days! Don’t know why people hate on the lady, she’s just getting the job done & she slays at her job! More people definitely should try it!

I took my girlfriend here expecting a nice diner, but it wasn't that convincing. I got black ramen which chashu( sliced pork) was death cold , I'm not Japanese but I can tell when something looks good. This was my first time having ramen with cold meat. Never had anything alike before from so many ramen shops. My girlfriend ordered kastu curry , which we truly believe that was not made curry but instant curry, so disappointed , . In our personal opinion when anyone goes to a place to eat, when the food is good no matter which day or time we go, if food is good , is good period. I would probably recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a taste and give their own opinion . Thanks
