I've been here a few times to get takeout and am very satisfied with their food selection. The price is reasonable and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that the line can be long but that's due to the qualities stated above!

** sandwiches review** What happened to the quantity in this place? So price went up but quantity went down? Individual sandwich is 8$ but there's barely any meat placed inside. I usually opt for individual sandwich instead of their buy 2 get 1 because of the better quality. It used to be much cheaper with much more meat. It's no big deal paying more for what you use to get but come on, what's with the portioning? Refer to photos for what it looks like cut down in the middle. I wish I have photos of the sandwiches from before to compare. Unfortunately it's better to get your own individual fillings to make a better sandwich and not a miserable half ass sandwich.

I was visiting the area and stopped by to quench my friend's craving for Chè ba màu (3 color desert). While they didn't have the 3 color dessert, they did have a 5 color option in their small refrigerated section. As I have been to other Bánh mì Chè Cali locations that are larger than this one, I assumed it would be possible to customize my own Chè with the 2-3 things my friend wanted in her dessert. When the cashier ringing up my order didn't understand my request, she asked her coworker in glasses if she could help me instead. To my dismay, my interaction with this other lady was downright terrible. She came off with an awful "WTF is your problem" attitude, barking at me like I was a dumbass and said "it's behind you, it's behind you, the dessert is there." We should have just left without getting anything after that sort of "help" and "customer service", but we still finished up this strange and very unnecessarily strained transaction. Judging from other reviews of this location, it seems this rude cashier is pretty infamous... Ok. Noted to never come back here. Totally fine with that! :)

Honestly I do like this place. Have been here so many times with my kids. Just one thing is really bother me that they reheated old bread and sold to me after I told them that I was willing to wait for new bread because reheating bread would be rock hard after it gets cold. New bread made stays soft all day. TodayI bought 8 long breads at 7:20am by noon all breads were really hard. It became even harder after I reheated. This is the third time that happened to me. Very disappointed! Hopefully it won’t happen again to me and others.

I was trying to ask for extra sauce they put inside the sandwich, the bbq sauce and the lady said it was soy sauce and I tried asking the lady making the sandwiches and she didn’t speak English so the same lady of course said it was “soy sauce” again and didnt even give me the sauce I was pointing to! The Azusa location had all the sauces available at your finger tips. I recommend you go there instead because they won’t know what you’re talking about here. And they didn’t even put any HOISIN SAUCE in my sandwich. I know the name now cuz they threw 1 in the bag with my siracha.

Prices just went up from 6.57 for bahn mi to 7.12. I saw the price change as we were ordering. Still better prices than other places and you still get the buy 2 G1 free deal. The nem neung spring rolls are 6.50 and now it's 7. Tax all included

What A RipOff! for $3.75 I get maybe 3oz of coffee w/milk ... I asked for lite ice and that freakin cashier goes "oh that's because asked for lite ice" like wtf you ripping me off for ICE! I was so close to throwing that coffee back at her!
