We haven't been in awhile, and have been wanting to go. I think we hyped it up to ourselves... the first few bites were so good, but then it was just ok. Maybe it was us. The burgers were hot, fresh and a good portion. We ordered small fries, which was more than enough for the two of us. They were delicious!!! ^ordered a little cheeseburger (1patty) with toppings and a double cheeseburger and fries.

Came to this Five guys on my lunch break and all I ordered was fries but why did it take them 25 min for them to get them out to me? I only have a 30 min break so I had to throw out the rest.

Hands down thee worst 5 guys location I've ever been to . I work inside the West Covina mall and every time I try and give these idiots another chance they ALWAYS seem to mess something up . One time they gave me a cheeseburger with no cheese . Today I asked for a burger with A1 sauce and they ended up putting hot sauce on my burger. A1 sauce and Hot Sauce sound nothing alike !!!!! Absolute idiots working at this location

The only thing good about this location are the fries. Worst service ever with the slowest moving staff on the planet. Customer service in not in their vocabulary, and that goes for the manager, too. Most unfriendly staff, too. Glad I only ordered fries after observing how the staff worked.

I remember when I first tried this place about a year ago and thought the burgers blew me away. The prices are most definitely steep, but you get to customize your own burger with whatever toppings you'd like, including grilled mushrooms (which isn't an option for many other places). The burger itself is extremely delicious, patties are nice and juicy and everything is pipping hot! I personally recommend ordering a burger with bbq sauce; the sweetness of the sauce combined with the hot juiciness of the burger really takes it away. Prices are again steeper, you're paying $9 for a double cheeseburger but the flavor is there. Fries are also fairly decent in portion. Another recommendation is to definitely go for the Cajun fries. It's the same prices for either Cajun or regular and the Cajun is absolutely delicious with its seasoning. They don't give as much as other burger shops like The Hat or Jim's in regards to portions, but it's definitely enough to be filling. Again steep, around $6 for a large that's about roughly half the brown bag, but again delicious. I think many people trash on this place because of: 1. the prices and 2. the inconsistent portion of fries. Don't just get a basic burger here, prices are already high and to get something super simple you'll obviously be disappointed. Definitely go all out with the different toppings and sauces. In regards to portions, I've gotten their large Cajun fries roughly four times last year and I think only once (the second time actually) did I get skimped. I can't say on the behalf of others, though. Overall this place has very delicious burgers that are worth every penny BUT definitely the price makes it a once and a while thing. If I just really want to get something cheap and tasty I'd go with In N Out. But ever so often when I want to go all out than this place is my go to. Also don't get bacon on the burgers, it's just a tiny strip that isn't worth the price.
