So we decided to go to Gens for my birthday we didn't wait since we sat on the high chairs our server seemed like a nice person but kept trying to upcharge us to the premium diner option we kept saying no he kept insisting that right there is something they need to train there staff better if a customer says no its no, then we proceeded to order our meats they came out quick but the grill was not set up so we waited for that when we finally got going the servers kept bringing things we had not ordered consistently we kept sending it back, after we ordered a final round needless to say we only got one of the meat orders the others we never recieved over all terrible experience and sub par quality food I feel bad not leaving tips because even with not so good experiences I leave tips but this one just left a bad taste in my mouth if I could I would have asked for a full refund but atleast I know this will be one less place I will visit.

Had there premium Menu, meat quality was great. But they were definitely understaffed they had one server and a manager helping like 10 tables on a Monday evening 8/18. Upper management needs to hire some more staff. That said despite being short handed our server that night was did an A+ job and did his best to keep up fed and meat flowing.

Food is ok, and the portions are a bit small compared to other KBBQ places, but I assume that's a good way to prevent wastage!. I liked their new mango tango dessert! Their brisket is thin enough to grill it crispy. The sauce portions can be a bit more as well, but you can always ask for more. Prices are reasonable, comfortable booth seating for most tables. Large sports TV at the front.

Slowest service I've ever gotten anywhere and they weren't even busy. Their portions are tiny. They gave us portions for 2 people for a table of 5. We waiting 10-30 minutes between our orders. We would order 3 portions so that we would have enough but we would get one plate at a time. The table next to us had meat coming non stop while we would sit there and stare with an empty grill and empty plate for 20min. We were there for 2.5 hours and did not get full. We finally gave up and just called it quits. We asked for sides and sauce multiple times and never got them.

Service was terible, dirty, had dinner for 2 and bringing 1 plate at a time. Asked 20 times for a fork and the servings were tiny . Chili sauce tasted like ketchup. It was just horrible

We got here at a very busy time but were able to get a table outside with Victoria, BEST SERVER EVEER. It was pretty packed and still she managed to get us everything really fast and kept checking on us regularly. Food is really good for the price, but service was amazing.

Good food! But this place is seriously lacking good servers, this place being so expensive I would hope I would see a waiter at least more than three times in a two hour table period, we left after one hour

We visited this restaurant around 5 PM on a Monday and noticed it wasn’t very busy. We were offered an upgrade to the premium option, which included free drinks and beer. While the staff member assigned to us was kind and genuinely trying his best, several of our orders were missed. We weren’t given any water, our sodas were never refilled, and some of us wanted refills but couldn’t find our server. We also never received the beer that was supposed to be part of our package. Overall, we felt ignored, and the service lacked attentiveness and proactiveness.

The food was good but it's super expensive. It was too expensive, not worth the price when choosing the premium cut meats.
