A nice atmosphere for family, live DJ, band. Reasonable prices, the cafe de olla is perfect 👌. Owner is very nice and checks on the customer's to make sure everything is acceptable. We received a free strawberry cheesecake for my son's birthday. I recommend it.

We ate here for the first time and we won't be back. The waitress was nice however the food wasn't spectacular for the price. All the drinks are bottled and the prices are crazy. $2.07 for a bottle of water. She did tell us all drinks were bottled but we didn't realize that was water too. My son had the ultimate omlette was filled with meat but little cheese. My partner had the chorizo omlette he said it wasn't chorizo and he's Mexican.... total for the 3 of us was over $72 for food that was just ok.

George's Cafe is a local hotspot eatery that offer foodies traditional meals (breakfast/brunch) in a cozy and welcoming dining experience. It's located on a tiny plaza at 522 E Vine Ave in West Covina.

Customers have an option of seating in their rear outdoor patio with street view as well as indoor. Throughout the cafe's interior decor you'll see some iconic cultural figures and the beautiful Virgen de Guadalupe. Their menu has a wide variety of breakfast (American & Mexican) items. I came early morning and ordered a Cafe de Olla and a Veggie Omelette. Both were just okay-typical coffee and breakfast. Service was mildly slow because they only have 1 male server working in that morning. And their customer started to pour in at 08:45 am. I can see he’s struggling taking orders. I almost wanted to assist the male server and I start taking customers’ orders and inquiries. Atmosphere was good. Prices were fair that reflects the quality and quantity of the food or drinks offered. Staff were competent and affable.

Overall, this cafe is modest that offers a Mexican home cooked meal. I think there are area in their business that can be improved.

Although very unassuming we ventured in to an extremely pleasant place. We looked over the menu and received a couple suggestions from George, which we chose. He was very friendly and chatty while at the same time giving us space. The food was amazing and the portions were perfect. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely visit again.

A classic independent diner where you can get a quality breakfast for under $20. Will go back next time I’m in the area.

This is the place I have a great time. The food quality is second. To none the prices are reasonable. The movie theme, a blood and blood out is fantastic. Making the atmosphere second to none. This great diner is in west covina, on vine a half a block east of glendora. I totally recommend, and we'll be returning again and again

Usually a good spot for food for quality and taste, however, today I tried the Philly Cheese Omelet and it was not up the the quality of food they usually provide. The cooked used flap meat and it was dried out and hard to chew. I gave up and just ate the egg and vegetable that were delicious. It was pricy too $18. My daughter had a Vegi Breakfast Burrito and said it was delicious. I should've stuck to something I've eaten there before, I was trying to be adventuress, lesson learn.
