This is by far my favorite tofu house that I've tried. It's the one place I go to if I want tofu soup and it's close to home! The place is pretty small, family owned, and their food is always consistent whenever I go. They give like 9 sides if you dine-in and they're always good. My favorites are definitely their seaweed and kimchi! If they sold these by the pound on its own I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Pricing has gone up due to these crazy times, but the quality is still pretty good. Tofu soup is very nice, however recently when I went for take out (during COVID) I felt that there was way more sides than actual tofu? For example I got the combination tofu and felt I got more seafood than tofu. This normally shouldn't be a problem but I really enjoy tofu soup for the tofu and would have liked more of it. Their japchae is also very flavorful, however it can be on the sweeter side. If you're not a fan of a tad sweeter japchae you might not like this. Their leek pancake is also my favorite!! I've tried other pancakes from other tofu houses but this is still my favorite. There's no meat, it's light and eggy, and it's super soft with a slight crispy ends. They would normally give this for free too if you dine-in but we still got it for to-go because it's delicious. Recently we tried their takeout and it definitely did not disappoint. Portions were same as if you were dining in and they give a good amount of sides! I think we received about 4-5 different sides and the amount per side was really nice! I'd highly recommend this place to any of my friends who are in the Walnut area. This place is great and my family has been here for years now. It's nice to see how much busier they've gotten (pre-COVID) and I do hope they're doing okay during these rough times. Definitely will be going back for more takeout if I'm crazy some korean tofu soup!

Their food is so good I like the tofu soup a lot more then bcd. Also so many of the side dishes and the pancake is to die for. I like the spicy pork the best, then the chicken with teriyaki sauce on the side . They marinate the chicken and has such great flavor.

One of my favorite places pre-covid, and still is now. Their to-go is great, with big portions, as well as good banchan.

A love a good set of banchan. Jeun Tong Tofu House prepared for us the usual pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, seaweed, tofu, but there was an accompaniment of a mac salad made with a honey mustard-sequel sauce that was delectable and a perfect compliment to the rest of the meal for. Soondubu jiggae was good and hot bibimbap was as good as it usually is anywhere else.

Ok for Korean soup.

I order the cold bibimbap with no rice almost every day as a healthy, low-carb, vegetable-rich lunch. Their food is CLEAN, always nice and extremely cautious with handling guests during this pandemic. They provide sanitizer, use a tray to grab your card and have your food set out by the door ready for pickup. I love this place, I can not wait until we can dine in to take the whole family here.

This is the best food I’ve had in the entire L.A. County, and I’ve tried the best stuff around here. A gem that you’ll be lucky to discover. The raving reviews were right, and I’m glad I trusted them!

One of my favorite tofu places in the area! I've been coming here for years! They have great sides! Portions are great too :)

Authentic Korean restaurant with tasty lunch specials. Ordered takeout recently to satisfy my craving for some bulgogi, and was happy to see that they included the banchan. The fish tofu is absolutely my favorite banchan in all of LA + the surrounding areas. The broccoli one is also very crisp and light - literally cannot going wrong with any of them, and the best part is that they’re free! There is a bulgogi and tofu combination for ~$19 and comes with white rice. The tofu soup for takeout unfortunately didn’t include the egg like they would in the restaurant, but it was still spicy and savory. It came with two dumplings. We also got an order of the Korean short rib (galbi) which was ~$14. I wish there was a bit more meat, but it was very tasty and ultimately these two orders filled up three people for lunch. Definitely come here to satisfy your craving for Korean food!

Thank you Lord for this place opening back up. I always try to support local businesses especially with the Rona going around. I always get the same Tofu soup with Bulgogi with extra fish cakes. If you haven't tried this place and like KBB, this place is a must try!!!

Great Korean restaurant with excellent food and lots and lots of sides in a pretty convenient area at the corner of Amar & Nogales, right across a gas station.

This tofu house is my mom and I's go to spot every time we want really hot soup. I love the workers, they're so nice and they take the time to try to understand your order to make sure it's right. I've been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. It's near me so it's not so far from me. I recommend their seafood+bulgogi or just their seafood soup in general. Their banchan is different from other tofu houses which is okay!(I suggest their fish cake and their veggie banchan it's really good) When you order their soup, yes you can adjust how spicy you want your food to be, but if you think it's not at the right level for you they can either take it back and add more of the spicy paste or they'll give you the paste so you can adjust it to your liking. They're really sweet and i think it is a family owned tofu house? Since it's been the same workers every time I come here. I highly recommend going here!

The restaurant itself is not too big. There wasn't a lot of people in it when we visited. The place seemed cleaned and the staff was friendly.
