Everything was excellent. We were seated in the bar area and were immediately greeted by our waiter. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. My dad had the beef ribs, and I had the pork ribs. My wife had the brisket salad. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back again.

Food is always amazing. This is my go to order when I’m ordering for a larger group. We normally get a rack of baby back ribs, a half roasted chicken and either some sausages or brisket depending on kids or no kids lol. Mashed potatoes/gravy are both bomb. Biscuits are bomb. Banana pudding is bomb. Mac and cheese is honestly the only thing that we don’t like.

Ordered to go, got there and 5 hostesses are just standing around. I see my food, let the hostess know I am here for to go and kind of point to my food that's just sitting on the counter. Instead of getting my food, hostess proceeds to tell me let me get someone from takeout? leaves so I'm waiting and waiting, before two more hosts come up to tell me the same thing. while my food is just sitting there getting cold. From the time I received my text that my food was ready to the time received it, over an hour sitting and cold. The worst customer service, specifically the five hostesses working tonight.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.I ordered the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the veggies were fresh and cooked to perfection.Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Lucille's BBQ in West Covina. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a great setting.
Let me give a little background, I previously left a very negative review of this location and a year and a half later out of a love for barbeque I tried it again. If anything it's worse. When I personally view 5 or 6 of the staff gathered at the bar having shots nothing more needs to be said. I'll add that I contacted corporate and never got a return call, text or email.
