The tacos gobernador here are excellent some of the best I’ve had, which is the main reason I keep coming back. The food is always well-prepared and flavorful. However, the service needs improvement. The lady who usually serves has a consistently bad attitude, and it’s the same every time I visit. The quality of the food is great, but the customer service definitely affects the overall experience. Also is not very clean place.

This was my first trip. I wound up here by Devine intervention. I was in the shopping center on business and saw MARISCOS right when my tummy started rumbling.
This place serves huge portions for decent prices. They have something for everyone. You don't have to be a seafood lover to enjoy the food here.
The tostadas are huge. Their plates are hot and fresh. The service was amazing! They speak Spanish and English fluently. I'll be back!

This random little hole in the wall was amazing. We ordered quite a bit to try as much as possible. It’s a little pricey but it’s southern Cali. The only price I felt was a little inflated were the bottled cokes were $5 each.

Steak fajitas - came with a bonus cheese quesadilla which was fresh and delicious. The steak was savory and flavorful but so soft and tender.
Chiles toreados - perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Fish taco - Large piece (whole filet) with plenty of toppings.
Carnitas taco - Perfectly crispy but not overwhelming. Absolutely divine.
Pollo taco - Seasoned beautifully. Tender.
Asada taco - just like the fajitas, the steak was perfect.
Guacamole - fresh and made to order. Chunky with fresh ingredients. Held up over night for breakfast too. Large portion was $13 but worth it.
Chips and salsa - the salsa had a good level of heat while still maintaining robust flavor.

Food was delicious, they have specials mon-thu 2×1 big portions and delicious. Staff friendly and at the top of anything we needed. First time and definitely coming back. I really recommend this place

We ordered la chaparrita the seafood was bad, had like a weird taste . I ordered octopus tostada bad, I ordered a blended margarita left it too the only thing I eat was the guacamole. Got charge for everything which I understand but they even bother asking if there was something wrong with the food. I would no recommend this place priced and terrible food.

There's a large variety of original Mexican food and seafood. The place is clean and the waitresses are friendly and on top of their game always. Highly recommended this place for any event or reunion.

Stay away from this place, bad reviews are 100% true.

Tables were dirty.
No napkins, then we asked the waitress/owner she gave us 1 napkin each.
Waitress/owner seemed very aloof and didn't pay much attention to us, we had to track her down. Surprising since there were almost no people there on a Friday night, which says a lot of what people think of the place.
The food was bland, not the worst but in no way justified the ridiculously high prices.

For two people and two simple dishes with non alcoholic drinks we were charged $85. A really outlandish price given the lack of cleanliness, atmosphere, food, and service.
