Been trying to call the last two weeks so I finally drove by and saw that they were closed. Looks like remodeling. I hope they reopen soon. Food was reasonably priced and delicious since we don't have a lot of tofu house options in the area

Love the food here. It's the best around here when it comes to the food . I always get the clam tofu soup.

Might be a biased review but I was immensely craving soup after eating greasy food for a week. Naturally, I wanted something comforting and soup always works for my stomach. Decided to check out this place since my coworkers liked it. Once I entered inside, I was met with surprise as I realized the interior of the building felt very traditional, as if I was in Korea. Also, I noticed that the waiters were speaking Korean which made me happy since it's authentic. Ordered the beef tofu soup and it did not disappoint at all. We got complementary side dishes and they were so good- the bean sprouts were seasoned well and the Korean braised potatoes were so soft yet flavorful. When it came out, the soup was still sizzling as shown in the picture below. The broth was so delicious, perfect for the gloomy weather. The only con was when I brought back the beef home to eat, it got really hard to chew and was rubbery. Overall, pretty solid Korean restaurant and the service was quick! I'd yet to try a different item on the menu next time I visit.

An absolute family favorite & one of our go to's when eating out! The portions are generous, the food is always spot on & service is great. My all time favorite is the galbi combo with seafood tofu soup, you can never go wrong with this combo I also love the assortment of banchan that's served with the meal, always a nice surprise to see what's being served that day! I do wish they would bring back the Korean fried chicken, since that's one of our favorites!

This place has been here for a good while and even survived the covid pandemic, and the reason why they survived is that they have some pretty good tasting and flavorful food here.According to their menu board, they've added new items, since the last time I came, and that would be Korean fried chicken, wanted to try it, but was told that the fried chicken is no longer available, so not sure what the story is about that. So the Wife was craving they're Galbi plate, and that was good enough for me as well, and they did not disappoint, great tasting, perfectly cooked with a few bits of grilled onions. The combo plate comes with soup of your choice, with spice level of your choice, also included was white rice and a few small plates of appetizers like kim che, cucumbers and so on...Everything was spot on, great tasting meal, good service, not much more you can ask for. Will definitely be back for our galbi cravings.

I can never go wrong with a KR tofu house. I go here for a "not-really-cheat, cheat meal" which is the spicy chicken bulgogi entreé and tteokbokki. I wish thr tteokbokki was available in a smaller size since I usually have to take it home. Flavour always good. Service is decent. Peaceful atmosphere.

We got the galbi & tofu soup combo. It's about 30 bucks. Do you remember the days when combo used to be 20 bucks ;((( Everything is pretty tasty, even the banchan. Galbi is like 3 strips worth, so it's enough to share, just get an extra bowl of rice!Service can be a little awkward, at least for our visit. There were like 3 owner/management hanging around. We came at like 7.15 ish, their closing time is 8, so maybe that's why. Do we ask them for refill or check or additional stuff, doesn't seem like they work there, but they approach to help us. Also! There is no music so the whole restaurant is so quiet, it's sooo awkward.

If you're looking for fast and friendly service at a Korean restaurant, Myung Dong Tofu in West Covina is definitely worth checking out. The staff here are attentive and efficient, making sure that you're well taken care of throughout your meal.As the name suggests, Myung Dong Tofu specializes in tofu dishes, and they definitely deliver in terms of taste and variety. Whether you're in the mood for spicy tofu soup or crispy fried tofu, you're sure to find something that satisfies your cravings. In addition to the tofu dishes, they also offer a variety of Korean staples like bibimbap and tasty short ribs And if you're in the mood for something a little more adventurous, be sure to check out their selection of Korean pancakes and stews.I ordered the spicy pork, short ribs, seafood n beef tofu stew. I have to say they were all on point with taste! Overall, this mom and pop shop is a great option for anyone looking for delicious Korean food and friendly service. Give it a try and see for yourself!

This restaurant is located in a plaza undergoing a large amount of construction. Plenty of parking around the area and a lot of empty restaurants nearby. In terms of the food, it was pretty good. They don't come with a large banchan (side dish) selection but it indeed does taste good. The bulgogi was flavorful and the portion was pretty good. I thought the tofu soup had the right amount of flavor and spice. Biggest takeaway is definitely the price, because it was much cheaper than other tofu houses I've been to. Service is pretty non existent beside for the food being brought out but also place looks like it is run by mom and pop. There is only two people to cook and serve so definitely come check this place out!

Service was good, Ambience is casual and there were lots of tables for groups. Parking is weird because they're renovating the ENTIRE building... excuse the mess haha Reasonably priced soda ($2 can) thank you lawd! The hot tea they give was really good! More please :) They could use more banchan but each little dish was delicious (had kimchi, cucumbers, a sweet root, rice jelly). The spice level was not that authentic, I got the highest spice level and tasted like medium. My husbands medium spice tasted less than mild. Husband got the pork/kimchi rice combo 8/10 because it would use more pork I got the fish combo 8/10 the fish was fried so well and so salty in a good way My mom got the the bimbimbap combo with short ribs 10/10 :)

Pretty good food for Korean BBQ, and the Tofu bowls are very good, I like the seafood Tofu, very tasty. The side dishes are decent with 5 varieties. I always order beef bulgogi. The ribs are too hard to chew and not much meat. Parking is plenty.
