Unfriendly employees, and the most important SMALL PORTION OF FOOD.
They charge good money and serve little food.
Not happy at all.

My coworker and I were craving Hawaiian bbq and this was nearby. Lunch was definitely served and we were satisfied.

I had their bbq chicken, side of chicken katsu and a side of white fish with all steamed vegetables. The chicken was delicious and cooked just right. The white fish was also delicious but the tar tar sauce was an excellent dip for it. The katsu was also pretty good and I used the tar tar to flavor it up. Overall it was a great lunch experience.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

It is a standard Ono Hawaiian BBQ establishment, located near Eastland Center. I have visited this establishment, several times, when I used to work in the area. I would take my lunches or dinners. The meals, that I ordered, during my visits, were delicious. At the same time, they were well-cooked. The staff were helpful and attentive. Furthermore, the tables were neat. Of course, the lines, too, were not long, or non-existent. At the same time, prices were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in the area of West Covina/Covina, I would recommend a visit to this establishment.

I’ve been coming to this location for the last year and during the day I’m used to getting good service with a nice cashier. I thought tonight I’d try something different and have ono but with how rude and the attitude of the cashier tonight 1/5/25 at 630pm isn’t worth it. The second I got to the register she had a bad attitude and a face that looked like she hated her job. I thought maybe if I smiled and made the effort to be nice and cordial she’d change her mood but nope at the end I asked for teriyaki sauce but she said it was only for online orders and that I can get soy sauce myself around the corner as she rolled her eyes for the 3rd time and scoffed. If I ever see this cashier again I’ll go back in my car and drive to Waba grill which is an easy 1 minute walk in the same shopping center if anyone else experiences the service I got.

onos is usually the go to for hawaiian bbq, but won’t be going back to this location for a while. I should’ve taken the guy letting the workers know his fire chicken was undercooked as a sign. got a grilled chicken breast plate and bbq mix plate to go. on the grilled chicken breast plate one of the lemons they gave was moldy. on the bbq mix plate a few of the beef strips were undercooked. 2 stars cause the mac salad was good.

Food is always yummy. Don’t forget to ask for your dipping sauces when you get take out or else they won’t offer any or place with your order.

Food was good, but the increase in price prevents me from being able to purchase their food as often as I'd like
