decided to try this place for takeout since it was just down the street from where i live. i ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani but both were not good at all!!! the chicken biryani had little meat in my dish and was a pink ish color like what lol?? portions were small for a $15 dollar dish.i come from the middle east and love eating indian food but if you wanna eat solid and authentic indian food, take your money elsewhere.i’m genuinely disappointed and will never eat from here again!

Food here tastes delicious. We tried egg curry, mutton biriyani, gopi 65 and gulab jamun. Service was good too.

The portion was decent, I had the coconut chicken curry, the herb in the curry sauce was very strong, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the individual taste. The price is reasonable, and the services are friendly.

I just ordered food from this place for Uber eats. This has to be the worst tasting Indian food I’ve ever had in the states. I don’t expect too much from American Indian restaurants but this was the absolute worst ive had over here. Don’t get Indian food from here!

Food came out very fast, customer service was on point, the host was very friendly and talkative. Host suggested the spicy noodles which turned out to be great! I had to ask for more water while eating the noodles but they were really good. Noodles were medium heat, I don’t think I could handle “hot” and I like spicy foods. I had the fried cauliflower, spicy noodle dish with tofu, white rice and garbanzo bean dish, and the Prata dish, everything was very well made and had great flavor. Service was quick and friendly.

The food didn't t taste good. I tried their chicken curry and chicken biryani and they tasted bad. The dishes aren't authentic. The curry is not fresh and looks like they use the same base curry for a lot of their dishes. 2 years ago, the food tasted much better. Also, the lady who was serving was rude. Maybe that's because she was working on Thanksgiving day, so that's ok.

Absolutely amazing channa Masala and veggie samosas. This place is small but a gem, the service was great and the food is delicious and authentic.

Being Singaporean, I had heard of this place and had been wanting to try for a long time. We finally did, for lunch on a Sunday around 2pm. We seated ourselves right away. The place was not huge but it had nice high ceilings, which gave the sense of openness that just felt comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the chili chicken ($14), coconut chicken curry ($14), Bezawada Biryani ($17), char kway teow chicken ($15) from a very friendly server who shared the floor with a young lady. We didn't mind waiting a little bit for our food but some other people seemed impatient. It feels like a small operation given just the two servers and the leisurely speed at which the food came out. Anyway, on to the food. Unfortunately this is where the stellar review takes a little dive. The chili chicken was reminiscent of ayam masak merah perhaps, with some nice spicy flavors, but the cubed chicken was sadly dry. It was a small portion, but I suppose it was meant to be an appetizer (at the price of an entree). The entrees came after a while - the bezawada biryani was served with a side of curry and a side of raita. The serving was ample and looked impressive but it had the same dry cubed chicken featured in the chili chicken. It was as if the kitchen cooks up a batch of these chicken pieces and uses them in various dishes. The coconut chicken curry was served as a leg quarter and not cubed, thank goodness! It was tender and moist. Maybe the bezwada and chili chicken was white meat, so hard to keep moist if cooked ahead and reheated? The curry was different than the biryani's and was tastier! The chicken was moist and tender! The char kway teow was ordered to go. Guess what? Generous portion, pretty bare bones, but with the same dry cubed chicken. They honored the free soda from Yelp. No complaints about the service at all! Maybe we came on an off day? Maybe we should have tried the prata (after all it's the restaurant's name) or the murtabak? I really wanted to say we finally found a source of good Singaporean Indian food! Maybe if we're in the area again, we'll avoid ordering any chicken dish that has chicken chunks in it...!

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Prata House is like no other restaurant in the area.If you like Indian, Malaysian, Thai, or Indonesian food and are looking for something unique to try, you can’t go wrong. I usually go for the Kothu Prata, but their curry’s are also phenomenal.Check it out, you won’t regret it!

Food was great the service was on point and the food was delicious. Like for really though. Chicken tikka spicy came out hot and perfect spice level. So much flavor and great cuts of the chicken. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Looking forward to samplings everything in the near future. Thanks guys.
