Food was Good, cheap asada meat quality, but the Horchata and bread was fresh, employees were very friendly, and the atmosphere is very clean.

I know Tacos El Gavilan has never been known for their generous serving portions but serving size portions have never been the main reason I choose to dine or eat at. I prioritize flavor, quality and customer service. Today has been the most disappointing experience I’ve had at Tacos El Gavilan, along with quesadillas for the family y ordered an Al Pastor Burrito for myself. Other than the fact that it is probably the skinniest burrito in the San Gabriel Valley, this burrito I doubt had any Al Pastor. I didn’t once feel like I bit into a piece of meat (Al Pastor), I could faintly taste the Al Pastor. This burrito was BEAN HEAVY, I’m assuming it had rice because all I could taste is beans. Extremely disappointing experience.

We frequently this location for quick taco fixes. The food is consistently delicious. Tacos are filling and the tortas are great. Our favorite is the chorizo; asada is runner up. We decided to try the family fiesta package. This was a wonderful decision. The portions were as expected. Utensils to eat and serve, cups, napkins, and plates were included. Plenty of salsa, lemons, jalapeños, onions and cilantro too. We added one extra tray of meat and were able to feed well over 20 people. We will be ordering again for our next gathering. Highly recommend!
