I walked out with a bill of 230 for four all you can eat buffets only to have eaten a raw egg, a tasteless avocado on toast, really bad pastries, and orange juice that I could have gotten at Walmart. The best and only good part were the fresh cherries. The painful part is I probably ate 20 cherries at the price of $60.

I’m also noticing that a LOT of people are mentioning the same hostess. Glad it wasn’t just us that had a foul experience with her.

Definitely one of those places where the illusion of money triumphs over the quality of service and food. Very unfortunate. Do not recommend coming ever. Only good if you’re looking to feel rich only to end up poor by the end of your meal.

My go to Italian spot and they moved locations to this new spot that is inside a old mansion looking kind of house that is truly amazing and perfect for taking your family out on a nice high class and quiet sit down dinner. They’ve got private rooms for events as well and the food, service and ambiance of the place is just flat out awesome.

This lovely little Italian restaurant is located in a gorgeous historic house in Old Town San Dimas. The cozy atmosphere is inviting and the landscaped grounds are a pleasure to view through the large windows. The service was over the top. From the moment you are led to your seat, you are treated like an invited guest. A piece of focaccia bread is served warm with a delicious scoop of garbanzo bean pesto while you wait for your food. I had the pasta bolognese. The pasta was noticeably handmade. The sauce was good, but was spiced in a way that I didn’t recognize, which made it confusing to decide if I liked it. There were many specials the night I went, including a lobster ravioli that I almost chose. Overall a great experience that I would try again.

Parking: Free parking on the street next to the restaurant on Saturday.

Went for lunch, and our daughter was napping in her stroller. We had the smaller dinning room to ourselves so she could sleep. We had an appetizer special of grilled octopus and calamari, which was especially delicious, and shared a few pastas. The shrimp gnocchi was our favorite.
The house itself is, of course, beautiful. Our return will be in a Tuesday or Thursday when the historical society upstairs is open.

Parking: Large free lot right behind the restaurant, shared with downtown San Dimas shops.

Kid-friendliness: They gave us our own room for lunch. We will be coming back on a Tuesday or Thursday with our son as the historical society upstairs is open then.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wide ramp to raised porch (about 3 feet), then all one level.

Italians pastas and pizzas to die for! I’m a huge lover of their truffle pizza which I get every single time I come here. The owner is a nice woman that’s been in the community for over a decade and is just so nice every time I come in. Restaurant is inside the Walker house which is a historical house/mansion and is so neat to take someone for the first time. Service is great and you couldn’t get any higher quality Italian food than here.

Bread that " just came of the oven" was cold.. What's up with the garbanzo hummus instead of garlic butter?? Not even Italian bread. Appetizer (mozzarella sticks) solidly cold. Entrees warm but not standard Italian fare.
