Dined in today. Highly recommended. This restaurant was first established in 1931 (almost 1 century ago!!) Fantastic food and very hygienic! I knew the business owner and his wife for years, and they are all germophobes (me too. That is why I'm so serious about hygiene in restaurants!) Xiao Long Bao, Won Ton, and BBQ ribs are all must-tries!!!
Xiao Long Bao has bread-like skin instead of the regular thin ones, so weird. Ordered the preserved veggie with meat noodle soup. So much msg but not sure if it's from the preserved veggies. Environment and ambience not professional and kind of dirty. Very limited menu. Won't return.
It shares a parking lot with Shunfa Supermarket. When I passed by while shopping for groceries the day before yesterday, I thought the product should be good based on my gourmet intuition. I came here to try it today, and it certainly lived up to my expectations! I ordered xiaolongbaozi and handmade brown sugar compassion.
