I used to go to this restaurant when it was in West Hollywood. I have not been since they moved almost 3 years ago And I am thrilled to report the food is as good - if not better than I remember. I highly recommend this restaurant and it was great to go back to an "old friend" Besides all of the food being excellent - the service and atmosphere was also great. I can't wait to return!
It was a quiet Sunday night. Quaint and charming neighborhood restaurant with the food and presentation of fine dining. Wonderful menu and pricing ! Charred octopus appetizer was terrific! Definitely recommend!!
My friends and I recently visited Amarone Kitchen and Bar and it, as always, exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant which is perfect for both a casual diner and a special occasion.
The menu had a lot of choice and the food was absolutely delicious, especially port milanese and a seafood appetizer.
The owner, Sandro, was there to greet everyone. He is very friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable.
The prices were very affordable as well.
Overall, Amarone is a true gem. Whether you are looking for a romantic event, a family gathering, or just a great mea, this place delivers on every level. I can't wait to come back!

Everything was great with 2 minor exceptions. Water was not refilled nor was my companions ice tea. There was a table of about 10 that was very noisy. My mistake not to sit farther away. The dining room is small so may not have done any good. I had the jumbo shrimp on a bed of spinach and it was excellent. My companion had rigatoni in vodka sauce with added shrimp which was also excellent. May have to be our Sunday after theater go to restaurant.
Vibe of a family restaurant.
The food is fresh and tasty, being coocked with a touch of the chef.
Main dishes are not big, so don't count on sharing.

The food at Amarone wasn't bad, but the server's disrespectful attitude ruined the experience. I won't be returning

I visited Amarone expecting a nice evening, but the server was incredibly rude. It's hard to enjoy your meal when the staff treats you poorly

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night, and to our surprise, we were the only guests there. That alone felt unusual, but soon we understood why. Service started off poorly when the server brought fried calamari instead of the grilled one we ordered. When the grilled calamari finally arrived, they were so stiff and rubbery it was nearly impossible to cut, let alone enjoy. We had to send them back. The main courses were even more disappointing. The roasted potatoes were undercooked and unpleasantly hard. The veal was so tough it was obvious it wasn't fresh, and the salmon came out dry with an unpleasant fishy taste. Nothing on the table felt properly prepared or remotely worth the prices charged. On top of the poor food and service, the restaurant had no functioning air conditioning. The entire experience was sweltering, and we found ourselves just waiting for the moment we could leave. It's baffling how this restaurant holds such high reviews online—our visit was an absolute letdown from start to finish. A true disappointment.
The worst overall experience in a restaurant of this supposed caliber restaurant ever. This was a planned celebration of the 20th Wedding Anniversary of our niece and her husband. We picked Amarone since we when celebrated my wife's birthday, we ate great food, had excellent service, spot on wine advice, and at the end my wife got her dessert with a little candle on it. In contrast here's what happened last night: There's no valet and an employee standing in the doorway watching us trying to figure out if there is one simply turns away. We have a 6PM reservation noting it's the 20th Anniversary of our guests. There is no one else there. We ask to sit outside but are told there isn't a 4-top set up though there are plenty of stocked up tables and chairs. Bread arrives which tastes stale. A martini is served which tastes like gin poured into a glass - not a Martini. We are repeatedly rushed to order food, Given that we and only one other person occupy the restaurant that was un-necessary. Appetizers: Crab cakes are average; salad is salad, the Polipo Scottato is mushy, soaked in oil and frankly disgusting. Mains: Salmon is overcooked and dry. One of two pastas is so underdone its almost inedible - it not al dente; it's simply not well cooked. Lamb chops were not medium rare but overdone, yet the outer fat was uncooked. They were tasteless, and the vegetables, hardly cooked, are drenched in oil. Not a hint of mint. When it came time to order dessert, we only ordered one since it became clear no one was having a pleasant experience. It came. No indication of an anniversary celebration. We were truly embarrassed that we brought our dearest relatives to the worst, inexcusably awful experience to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Our bill for this humiliation was $293.06 before tip. $351.06 with tip. I wrote to the chef / owner describing what happened twice . No response.
The neighborhoods best kept secret. Food was great, service was attentive. Can't understand why it was not more difficult to get a table on a Sat night

Amarone Kitchen and Bar is the perfect restaurant Quiet enough to hear. Nicely spaced seating both inside and outside. Reservations usually available especially on Friday evenings. The menu and food check everyone's palate The choice of wines by the glass all excellent , fairly priced and generously poured.

This was my first visit. Quite the discovery! It's small, unfussy, but still very charming. Servers were pleasant, the prices were modest, and the food was SPECTACULAR -- at least it was on this, my first go! I fully intend to return to see how the other menu items stack up. The asparagus radicchio salad I had was chopped, which was not what I had expected, but absolutely delicious with its balsamic glaze and shaved parmesan. My second course was the mushroom and truffle ravioli with sage butter sauce. Heavenly!!! It may take me a while to get through the rest of the menu, surprisingly extensive for such a small place, but I'm a trooper like that ;-)
The ambience is refined and inviting. The owner is very welcoming toward guests and makes sure everyone is enjoying their meal. This is an ideal spot for a peaceful and enjoyable dinner with loved ones.
The Gnochi alla Sorrentina was quite exquisite and grows on the palette the more you bite into it. The cheese on it is the most notable. The tiramisu is good as well.

This was my first time at this restaurant. All pastas are made fresh. The service was terrific. Homemade house bread. Everything is fresh and delicious. We ordered the pear salad to start and ordered the bolognese pasta. This was one of the best bolognese pastas I've ever had. This will be my new go to Italian Restaurant. The owner Sandro was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his Italian food. Don't miss out on giving this place a chance.
