Arden Restaurant

I recently celebrated my birthday at Arden Restaurant in West Hollywood. The food was excellent, and the overall experience was decent. However, there were some issues I felt need to be addressed. When we arrived, we had two unexpected guests, and the host asked us to let them know when they arrived so he could check. Unfortunately, when our guests arrived, the manager's attitude changed noticeably; he was quite rude and seemed to rush us to leave. Additionally, I felt there was a lack of sensitivity in how he asked about our backgrounds—when I mentioned we were Brazilian, his demeanor changed in a way that felt discriminatory. While I appreciate the effort from the staff, the overall experience was disappointing due to the service and management's attitude. Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning to this place.

The vibe was really nice and the food was absolutely delicious! The wait staff was very patient and friendly....Besides the mouse crawling above our head & a spider falling on my friend it would have been even better experience.

I love the service the ambience and the food. Everything was delicious. Waiting time was perfect. We had a great time. Thank you.

Decorations are amazing but food items and drinks are extremely pricey. The drinks were not to my liking.

Disappointing Dining Experience Despite Great Service Upon arrival, we were greeted (loosely speaking) by a host who seemed to have left his good mood at home. Since our full party hadn't yet arrived, we were informed that our table would be held for only 10 minutes—despite the 15-minute grace period stated online. Not the warmest welcome. We waited in the bar area, which was nicely decorated and had a charming ambiance, but the negative first impression lingered. We were a party of eight and fortunately had the pleasure of being served by Augustine, our waiter. He was the highlight of the entire experience: upbeat, attentive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. 5 stars for him—he truly elevated the mood at our table. Unfortunately, the food didn't follow suit. Out of eight entrees, none stood out as memorable. While nothing was outright terrible, everything felt uninspired. With two professional chefs at our table, the consensus was clear: underwhelming. Also, no sense of customer service at all. As I was walking from the restroom back to the table no one let me through. They walked full body towards me not making eye contact as if I was in their way. Need to retrain your employees on customer service asap before this ship sinks. Some specifics: •Two orders of truffle fries arrived inconsistently seasoned—one overly salty, the other lacking salt altogether. •The bacon in the breakfast burrito was thick, chewy, and under-seasoned. •The fried chicken sandwich was dry, difficult to cut through, and overwhelmed by garlic. •The Greek salad didn't resemble a Greek salad and went mostly untouched. •Lattes were just okay—basic presentation and not filled to the top, which added to the overall sense of mediocrity. It's also worth noting that the restrooms lacked toilet seat covers. While not mandatory, it's a small touch that would've shown more attention to guest comfort and hygiene. This place used to be much better.. food is unremarkable and a bit pricey for the quality. Ambiance is lovely though.

The service was great and the decor was beautiful. Prices were a little steep which was expected. The menu was primarily seafood based. I just wish there were more pasta, chicken or meat options.

From the minute, we got up to the host stand the service was incredible! We arrived 25 minutes early and they had us at the bar while our table was ready and the drinks were absolutely amazing! Once we were finally sat, the service was incredible with our waiter. Everything was nicely timed but not rushed so I said give us time to eat our appetizers and have a nice conversation without having the next course brought immediately. The food was delicious and we couldn't have been happier with our choices, overall an amazing experience!

Beautiful ambiance, service was great, we had a great time celebrating my nieces 21st birthday. The drinks were all beautiful, Instagram worthy and delicious. The music was a bit too loud; it was difficult to have conversation at the table because it was so loud. Appetizers to try, the Brussel sprouts, meatball and cauliflower are a must.

The location is its biggest pro! Aside from that, this location does far short on its brunch menu due to it being so small and restricted. We weren't satisfied fully with what we got to eat considering it was pricey and very basic. Menu lacked being specific about your entree sides and it was lacking flavor. Our server and staff in general were very pretentious and tense towards us during our meal which didn't help the experience either. This is a good place for that Instagram picture aesthetic and maybe a drink or two but would avoid the food altogether.

Arden is absolutely enchanting! The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is a true delight. Every dish feels carefully crafted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.A must visit in West Hollywood!

Went for my birthday brunch with 5 of my girls. It was a hot day so it felt very humid at the restaurant. Our Server was really nice. The place got full and there was not a lot of space for the servers to walk by. The food was okay, but wish they had more and better brunch/lunch options. Drinks were really good.

We loved our brunch at Arden, especially our friendly server! But despite the reservation, we were seated on the patio right next to the cafe in a high traffic area that was never fully shaded (the umbrella couldn't cover all 4 seats from the mid-day sun). The food is great, so next I go back I'll be sure to request a better table.

Lobster Mac and lobster rigatoni had VERY small pieces. Oysters were amazing. Lamb was tough. Beautiful for pics.
