Cute little ice cream shop tucked in the alley-ish in WeHo. Despite being vegan, it's extremely creamy unlike sorbets. Seasonal/rotating flavors so make sure you get samples!

Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream! Let me tell you it definitely hit the spot, one of the best ice creams I've tried I can see why it's one of their top flavors. I got the single scoop and it's a good amount of serving but I should have gotten a double scoop for sure! If you love chocolate ice cream and Oreos, then this is the perfect flavor for you. Although, there is a hint of coconut in the aftertaste in case you're not too huge on coconut. But the actual flavor overpowers it. We went late at night but the service was still good! You have to be careful not to miss the window it's right next to a small coffee shop. There's a few chairs around to sit after or you can walk around and see the other shops around. Very small space but great ice cream! I will definitely need to go back and try other flavors!

Wow wow wow! The flavors here & overall experience was so sick. I love the coconut bits in the ice cream & the overall texture of the ice cream. The spot was very tiny but perfect for an ice cream pick up after dinner. I highly recommend and I'll definitely be back. I hope they expand soon to more locations so I can access it frequently!

Surprisingly good vegan ice cream. The staff was super nice too. Each scoop is genuinely served . Best experience! Recommend the chocolate flavor?

The ice cream here is great, they have different flavors you can choose from that rotate in and out. Customer Service is great. Sitting is good but limited and finally, it's hidden in plain sight which makes it cute.

I went here expecting amazing vegan ice cream based on the reviews and got below mediocre ice cream. It's located in a little corner window you walk up to. They let you try many flavors. But for specific sizes they don't let you put two flavors in it, which is not fun if you're looking to fill your tastebuds with joy. Also when the guy told me to pay it showed $16 when the total should've been $10. I told him and he fixed it. So make sure you look at the total before you pay. I would definitely go to Yoga-urt instead for much better vegan frozen yogurt.

Delicious vegan ice cream. The location is so unfortunate though. It’s so hidden and small. I had no idea where it was located. Hopefully they upgrade to a better location soon.

I've never seen an ice cream shop like this before! This shop doesn't have any seating inside because it is a small bar hidden behind a coffee shop. They have seating outside that is connected with the coffee shop and if my friend didn't take me, I would have never known because it is so hidden! When I got there, it was late at night so there was no one else in line, but the worker was so kind and offered me to try every flavor. Honestly, I didn't love all the flavors but the one I liked the most was the Valencia Orange! It was sweet and tangy and had a tiny piece of candied orange on top. The spoons are wooden and the cup is made out of recyclable paper.

This is my favorite ice cream spot in LA -- and it happens to be 100% vegan and GF -- my dream come true. All of the flavors are thoughtfully put together to have the perfect amount of impeccable flavor, and each scoop is served with a hand-selected delightful garnish. No other ice cream shop puts this much care and love into their product, but AWAN is on another level. My favorite flavor that seems to be on their regular menu is valencia orange -- and let me just say that I'm not usually a fruity ice cream girl, but this orange flavor is out of this world. It seems AWAN swaps many of the other flavors in and out, which makes for an exciting experience each time I go here, as I'm often trying out new, amazing flavors. I am rooting for AWAN to make it big -- they deserve it more than any other ice cream shop!

Hot take, but I don't really understand the hype surrounding AWAN. I love ice cream and can justify paying for an $8 scoop once in awhile, but I probably wouldn't revisit AWAN after trying it once. All flavors have a coconut base, which I actually really enjoyed! It was light and flavorful. I also really liked the texture of the ice cream which can be described as stretchy. I just find this place overhyped like many LA dessert spots.

Hidden gem icecream shop. All favours are vegan & gluten free but with no compromise to texture and flavour (indistinguishable from a “normal” Ice-cream).One of the best icecream places I've tried. This time ordered Dayglow Coffee, perfect coffee icecream.Spot is hard to find, it's a small window by the coffee shop.Vegetarian options: all flavours are vegan

Rotating menu with reimagined Southeast Asian flavors. Everything is vegan, made with coconut vs milk, and you're able to sample flavors. A must visit if you're in the area.

So tasty!!! Have been told by non vegans that this is their fav ice cream spot in LA. It's not overly coconut-y, which I was worried about cuz I'm not the biggest coconut gal. Got a super tasty marzipan flavor. It's a little pricey but worth it for the quality and to support local! It's just a walk up window (that is super cute, tho) so don't plan to eat inside. Server wasn't overly friendly but did let me sample a few flavors :)
